A video was posted earlier with an XB1 making odd sounds. Guess what game it was then? CoD...lol
Well again, it represents 20% of the cost over its competition. If it was minor, I would have hoped that they'd put the cost into a better GPU. Seriously, this thing is sucking wind on BF4, which is EXTREMELY disappointing and concerning, especially considering that they want these things to have a 10 year lifecycle.
I commented in the BF4 thread: the PS4 is clearly superior with regard to graphical quality and framerate.
My son and I are sitting here with both consoles with blank looks on our faces. We prefer the Xbone's library but the PS4 hardware and controller are the shiz, and not just on paper.
Keep both man...seriously. Use the PS4 for it's strengths and enjoy the XB1 games that you can't play on PS4. You win.
I kind of feel where you're coming from but the Kinect is cool and all but it's better than having the console crap out.
Hey does anyone know where to view your current downloads? The PS4 puts them in your notifications but the XB1 doesn't seem to show them in a centralized location.
was just testing out the game dvr thing right now, it's pretty simple to get stuff edited and trimmed. i upped to skydrive then upped to youtube.

quality is pretty ass though lol.
Similar to twitch streams it seems. Wish we could do a few minutes of HD quality without all the external hardware.

actually i think youtube isn't done processing it. the file is 1280x720.
Looks decent to me.
I can't agree, KT. The compression artifacting in that video is pretty bad.
The bitrate's too low. I'm not sure if it was due to hardware limitations, or if it's because MS was trying to reduce file sizes.... but, I hope it can be fixed in a patch soon.
I have to agree. It's clearly struggling with any high frequency detail, especially the background.I can't agree, KT. The compression artifacting in that video is pretty bad.
I feel us early adopters are in for a rough ride these first couple of months until MSFT can iron out all of the kinks.
Software issues I can deal with, but if it turns out there are widespread HW failures like the RROD it will be a disaster for MSFT.
How in the world do you sync another controller!? I hit the stupid sync button on the left side and it just makes some weird sound effect and nothing happens. Honestly, using the OS has been nothing short of infuriating so far. You can tell that if was built on a Windows kernel given the silly console naming policy of no spaces. :/

I haven't tried it yet, but I read it's done using the Kinect?
