So people who already have considerable $$$ invested in a wheel setup for their 360, have to buy a totally new setup since the old one won't be compatible with XBONE racing games.
Well isn't that just great. 😡

The video explains why they can't use the same peripherals. I'm bummed too, hopefully I can pick up a new wheel for $250??

I don't generally pay attention to commercials anyway. I have my mind made up before I see a video game ad in TV.

That said I'm not a fan of this for one reason...they still try to push Kinect. The only parts of the system functionality they even show you is "kinect on" which does absolutely nothing for me.

The Kinect comes in the box, why wouldn't they try to push it? Besides, everybody knows what it brings to the table by this point. Voice commands and controller-free control and games.

This another one of those rage moments because they showed other things the Xbox can do rather than show a bunch of games?

i'll be fucking shocked if the dash is really as responsive as that video shows.

also, i'm disappointed they used the same sound effects for the new dash.

What would you like them to show exactly? "Here is a machine that plays games, same as every other machine." Everyone knows it will play games. They are showing off the other stuff it does because people find value in a machine that can do multiple things.

All the PC gamers love to talk about how a gaming PC can do more than just play games. Yet, when a console gets other stuff it can do as well, everyone cries about it.

Yeah I'm calling complete BS on this. There's no rational reason that Microsoft would move away from handling all chat via an API like the 360 does.

I'd have to agree, it just wouldn't make any sense. Since this came out late last night, I look forward to seeing if any Microsoft personnel give any response.

I thought that like the ps4, the xb1 would handle voice chat at the os level which is in the background and offloaded to the dedicated network chip.
