When you cherry pick the kind of ID just to benefit white Republicans, you betcha. Example CC allowed in Texas while college ID not. I notice you never suggested the state provide ID to EVERY eligible citizen at no cost or inconvenience to them. Do that I'm fine with it.

BTW - We are overwhelmed at the list of Democrat dirty tricks you provided trying to disenfranchise Republicans and white majority districts.

That's because there aren't any.

It’s so sad, usually we wonder how the voting will go and who will win, that was usually. But this time all we can wonder about is what dirty tricks Donald Trump and his mass of lawyers have up their sleeve? What crap do they have planned? They won’t say, Donald Trump won’t say, but everyone knows it’s coming. This isn’t an election, this is an attempt in keeping the hounds at bay.

For a moment I thought perhaps Biden _had_ got states mixed-up, but the footage didn't indicate the state he was actually in, so they photoshopped in references to that to make the error more self-evident. But in fact it's not that, it's outright fakery - taking footage of him correctly mentioning the state he's in, and manipulating it to appear like a different state.

They seem to be getting increasingly Stalinist with their falsification. On a wider-level, it's depressing that you now can't trust any video footage.

The problem is really a two-point issue.

1. Voter ID laws are generally laws that are solutions in search of a tangible problem. This isn't to say that voter fraud doesn't exist, but it's so rare that you end up being a hindrance rather than a help. Part of the reason is that attempting to falsify a vote in a national election has such a little effect on the election that risking a felony conviction is just an inane move on the part of any ne'er-do-well.

2. Government facilities that provide ID services aren't necessarily as accessible to all people. For example, in Alabama, around the same time they enacted the Voter ID laws, they also shut down a few service centers in more rural areas. This made it far harder for people in those affected areas to get an ID -- especially those who didn't drive anymore, such as the elderly.

Legal Eagle actually had a good video that went into more detail about this, and exactly how much voter fraud we encounter.

But an absentee ballot requested Friday is unlikely to arrive in the mail before polls close Tuesday. Georgia law and a court ruling required all absentee ballots to be received by county election officials before 7 p.m. on Election Day.

If the Republicans carry on with this strategy of securing minority rule at all costs (and every sign seems to say that they will) eventually something is going to fracture quite dramatically. They are pushing the US towards disaster. Wish I was younger so I could hope to be around to watch when it breaks.
