I couldn't even put the disc back in.. some quick Googling and this has been an issue before. Apparently the eject screw gets too loose. If your PS4 won't accept your discs, just pop the cover and tighten the eject screw.

Thats odd. I had it force close then load the game all messed up until I took it out again and put the disc back in.

Very interesting, haven't heard of this one before but it's good to know just in case it happens.

I'm leaning towards the Vita TV not coming to North America, given Sony's track record with stuff like it. The Vita + PS4 bundle is a given though, since it's all but been officially announced.

I'd love the vita tv getting a states release, but I do remember the reception around here being fairly lukewarm, when the japenese product was announced. Plus, I don't think the japanese version has sold all that well (even for the vita).

Well, the 2 markets are different, so perhaps the vita tv would sell better here. I guess there is some small hope that they might bring it stateside.

I'm not going to hold my breath though :'(

Sign me up to the Vita TV club. I've been patiently waiting for them to announce a NA version.

Anyone play Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate, the free PS Plus game for June?

I think it's really fun, moreso than any of the other free-game-of-the-month titles I've seen so far.

Most of the mechanics are based on physics / fluids

Yeah, I played it a bit. Remember that we get 2 free games per month starting June, so you get PixelJunk Shooter AND Trine 2. Both are very good games, so don't miss your Trine download if you didn't realize we get two games.

Thanks, I didn't know that. Off to get Trine now.;)

Anyone's analog stick starting to feel a bit slick? Not real bad but like the rough texture of the rubber is wearing a bit in the center and getting smooth? I suppose it's probably skin oils and the like too. What's a good way to clean them you think? I'm afraid to use something that will dry them up and make it start to split.

A little yea but my r2 button squeaks as well. I would just clean it with a damp soft cloth.

Honestly, the Vita TV is more of a PS4 streamer than anything, but I don't mean that as a bad thing. The PS4 has been very popular over here, and the idea of being able to stream the PS4 to any TV over Ethernet using a $100 adapter -- that can also play Vita games -- probably sounds appealing to PS4 owners. In short, PS4 popular... Vita TV good for PS4!

Also, since the Vita TV is pretty much just a Vita, you should be able to stream over the Internet too! I should be able to bring the Vita TV to a friend's house and stream PS4 to it.

I havent had issues with my ps4 controller but my xbone right trigger creaks bad. Called MS about it and they wanted to charge me $35 plus shipping to replace it. Hopefully sony offers a better service if that happens

Have you not heard about the Dualshock 4 thumbsticks? They wear down and eventually expose the plastic underneath. Just get these Grip-its. They're excellent and fit very snug on the sticks, but amazon usually sells out very quickly.

No cause I've seen pictures of people's thumb sticks splitting and theirs is at the edges like the pic below. Mine is just feeling smooth and slick(ish) on the top center, it's not splitting, not wearing off.

Remember the pic below is not mine, this is what I've seen reports of and mine are not like that. They only have a slightly slick or slippery feel. I'd try cleaning them but I don't want them to dry up and split as a result of that.

I see. My first controller was a progression. Started like yours, just slippery. Then I started to compensate by using the edges of the stick rather than the center because my thumbs would slip off. Then the left one wore down all the way!

I'm just saying that if it gets worse, those grip-its are amazing and feel better than the naked stick IMO. The blue ones look pretty crappy though.

thicker rubber caps you put over the sticks, if I get a PS4 (which is inevitable), I'll probably pick up a couple of those... and yes the blue ones DO look like crap.

My X360's controller stick wore out a couple times and I bought a few from eBay for $2 and was easy to replace (you need a toolset to open the controller, I bought a screwdriver set from the Source/Radioshack that you put pressure down on when unscrewing something).

I saw a video on youtube of how to switch out the sticks, so I will probably order a couple of XB1 sticks and throw them in my controllers.

People posting pictured elsewhere say they don't fit right and leave a gap. Plus the xb1 sticks are taller which would feel twitchy without a way to calibrate. Changing the height of the stick could have a very negative effect on movement.

Well, just saw a news article, but lost the link. Apparently Sony just announced Western release of Vita TV, for this Fall.

I'm quite happy for being wrong, for once.

I just really don't understand the appeal of console "streaming". Outside of a home network, it is going to rely on internet speeds (hardly ideal) and even inside a home network, is it that hard to move your PS4?

It isn't just the PS4 streaming either, the other streaming stuff doesn't wow me either. I guess it is cool technology, but other than "yep, we can do it", I can't see any real reasons to do it.

Thanks for the tip. I did find Trine 2 yesterday, but it would have been easy to miss.

Pulling the PS4 in and out of my entertainment center would be a big pain in the ass. I'd much rather have a PS TV box downstairs on the other TV, assuming the streaming works well. Plus the PS TV has some other interesting functions like PS Now.

It's dependent on internet speeds but it has an Ethernet port so you can wire it to your network. I use ethernet wireless adapters for my ps4 and personally for me they work with great speed. I know a lot of people hate them but for me it's way faster in my apartment than wifi on the ps4.

Having this device will allow me to play ps4 when my gf hogs tv all weekend. I used to move my systems and games from living room to bedroom and find plugs, plug everything in, get my games, and then move it all back. Just a big pain but you may also call it lazy.

I already have a tv that's not being used in my bedroom, might as well hook it up with the ps tv box.

Personally, I don't care about the streaming. Nor the other stuff this can do (I'm assuming hulu, nextflix, or whatever)

All I care about, is being able to play my handheld games, on my big screen tv, without going through some crappy emulator.

I have quite a few vita and psp games I really like. I'd like them even better if I could play them with a 50 inch screen.
