There's been almost no info about Watch Dogs and Drive Club since they were delayed. I thought it was weird myself.
 
What headsets are people using? I'm looking for something, but can't decide. Would like to spend around $50 or less and it has to work for both game audio and mic via the single 3.5mm connection to the dualshock 4 (no usb connection, no separate stereo connection to the tv).

The "top" contenders for me thus far are the Tritton Kunai and, if they work, the Skullcandy SLYR headset. I can't find any solid information on if it has this single connection for audio and chat.

What else should I look at / consider?

Any headset for PC(which has separate audio cables for voice and regular audio) can be used with a smartphone adapter. Something to keep in mind.

I have a pair of PC headphones that have the separate connections for mic and audio and would love to use these. What adapter would I need to use these with one connection point with the dualshock 4?

I see a simple Google search returns a number of various adapters. Thanks for pointing me in this direction; I'll definitely give this a shot.

The multiplayer is completely unplayable for me on PS4. The campaign is working fine though, and I'm actually enjoying that. I'm starting to come to the realization that BF4 will never be fixed. Kind of boggles my mind.

Yep, but they pushed Mantle out on the PC before fixing the game...tells me they don't really care and are trying to leverage mantle as a quick way to port games between consoles and PC instead of delivering a working product.

Funnily enough a beta version of Titanfall actually runs better (fewer issues)than BF4 which has been patched numerous times and was released 4 months ago.

There was a 1gb patch last night for bf4. But I haven't played online much either. I've been doing the sp in bf4 and ghosts to pass time. The Times I did play mp it closed on me about 6 times over the course that the game was released. There were days mp worked fine though. But if I'm on, I'm on it for about 1hr so I suppose it's not a good amount of time to experience all the bugs.

It was unplayable when it first released for me and everyone else but I play it just fine. Occasional issues now

I know that quite a few people had some major issues, particularly early on. When I first started trying, I had Win7 x64 SP1, and it had a persistent stutter that drove me insane. I tried dozens of things, nothing fixed it. BF4 was the only title that had any issues at all, BF3 ran like a complete boss. Switched to Win8.1, and everything has been perfect other than occasional audio bugs since then.

I haven't messed with Mantle (have 770SLI, so don't really care).

I use my GS4 headset and it works great. The mic works very well too.
 
I was hoping my tired eyes saw March 27 I was going to crap my pants. But may is alright. Better than June. I'll have spring time to occupy me with riding my motorcycle around until all these games come out.

I may *gasp* not buy Watch Dogs for a few months and wait for it to go on sale unless the pre-order bonus is worth it. Knowing what happened last year with The Show 13, I won't touch another game for 4 months. 😳

Heh...I can't quite do that but I put a ton of time into the previous one I played which was 12.
