I ended up getting it to work had to delete the game data again and this time it installed the right way. BF4 looks so much better then it did on ps3. I suck so bad at this game, I've went positive every round but not once have I had a call of Duty score like 15-5

Yeah you get used to it. We will have to play a few matches sometime. But the gf is over this weekend so I'll message you when I get online. I've gotten pretty good using the chopper and still trying to unlock a good assault rifle.

After trying both, I find Pinball Arcade more to my liking. Perhaps it's a desire to experience something more authentic as a real table, but it just feels more comfortable to me. Really considering buying the Season 1 pack.

How did you feel about this one vs 3d Zen?

Oh I have not tried Pinball Arcade yet. I looked at it, but I did not see any free tables to play. I'll have to take another look. :hmm:

Well the Arabian Nights table is free/included, and the other tables can all be played in demo mode (up to a certain low score) to get a feel for them. After playing PA I felt a little uncoordinated trying Zen. Could just be me, but try it out and see.

I had several packs in Pinball Arcade before they started splitting them up into "seasons", and played it a lot before I found Zen Pinball. Pinball Arcade is great for replaying favorite tables that have been faithfully recreated in the game. Zen Pinball has completely original tables that often times can't exist in the real world. I prefer the physics in Zen Pinball, and after playing both feel like PA is a little "floaty" for lack of a better term. It's like the ball doesn't move fast enough or something.

Anyway, both are good games for pinball fans. I just prefer Zen Pinball because they're original tables. There are only a few tables I really wanted to replay in Pinball Arcade, and after playing those to death I got bored and moved on. There's just so much more that can be programed when the table is completely virtual like in ZP... the limitations of the real mechanical tables in PA just feels boring in comparison.

I can definitely understand your stance - didn't think of it like that. I think what feels different to me are the physics and the ball speed. I do kind of like the original themes of Zen tables though. I'll try it some more before deciding on a purchase.

Yeah, it's just what you're used to at the time really. I started with PA and when I first played ZP2 it felt weird, but then I played ZP2 a ton because the tables were so good and now going back to PA feels weird 😛

anybody else having trouble getting to sony site with PS4? I have been trying since yesterday to get add on for pinball arcade. i either get error message or the site times out. tried calling yesterday, waited 25 minutes then hung up.

Well, before looking for a headset to buy to replace the string-can one that comes with the system, I tried plugging in my Logitech Clearchat Pro (USB) to the PS4, and to my surprise it worked wonderfully. 😎 Also found a user-made compatibility spreadsheet if anyone is interested.

Just tried out these two pinball games and I prefer Zen by far. When it swaps to another screen for a mini-game bonus round it's very cool. Plus playing in 3D is kind of awesome too.

On PS4 version 1.52 how the heck do I check battery capacity? I found a youtube video and it doesn't work on 1.52. The only time I ever see it is when it disconnects and I connect it, I can then briefly see it.

Hold the ps button. You will come to the menu where you can turn off the system or stand by, etc. Look to the bottom right. There will be a battery icon. Usually once I see one bar I plug it into the ac adapter of my phone and take a break. I've never actually let it drain completely.

Dec 31st is just a placeholder date since they don't have the real date of release.

I think they usually come out around March/April/May time, can't remember exactly when, I want to say April though.

Man, the only game that appeals to me is NBA2K14, and I'm not a huge sports fan either... all the other games I have on my PC except Killzone, but I hate FPS's on consoles... (unless they allow me to use a mouse and keyboard)

MLB 13: The Show was released on March 5. With MLB 14 the biggest feature I'm looking forward to is that you can transfer your franchise, road to the show, or season to MLB 15. So if you create a player and get him to the Majors and want to keep that player going you can transfer the save to the next version of the game. You never have to start over anymore. Also an optional quick count mode will make the game more accessible for people who think baseball is too long. A pitch count is generated for each at-bat based on the actual player statistics. So you could finish an at-bat with a single pitch at times. This allows you to play through a full 9 inning game in about 30 minutes. I must admit, after some long stretches in previous MLB games I was ready for it to end. The realistic player stats won't be affected because the count is generated based on those stats so a good hitter will start out ahead in the count or a good pitcher will have a batter behind.

I've beat killzone and traded it for nba 2k14 paid 20 bucks total. Honestly I've been playing nothing but AC and 2k14 lately, and bf4 online. I haven't started bf4 single player either. As for cod I haven't touched it since launch.

I'll be getting second son in march even though I wasn't a big fan of infamous on the ps3 but it was a very fun game.

The only game I miss from the ps4 is resogun. I was working on beating that game on master difficulty when I sold it off for a $120 profit. Ill get another ps4 when some exclusives come out until then it's dead rising 3, NBA 2k14 and forza getting my attention

Why did you sell off your PS4? For profit?

Loving NBA 2k14. Received AC4, KZ, and Gods Among Us from GoHastings but all going back since they arrived with shattered cases.

having some issues getting surround sound on ps4...my AVR doesn't seem to like the linear-PCM format.

Also noticed that Bluray's have an option to specify output...and the DTS option seems to work.

Never had this issue on ps3

IIRC, you could toggle video and audio formats that your system can use on the PS3. Have you dug into the settings of the PS4 to see if those options are there? Maybe the ps4 has something enabled by default that the ps3 didn't.
