If anyone has Assassin's Creed IV on the PS4, it was just patched to run at native 1080p (as opposed to the prior 900p). Screenshots looking nice, pretty darn close to the PC version.

Keep in mind that Assassin's Creed IV is still locked to 30 FPS. Although, it's probably not the biggest deal since combat is a large reason you want a high framerate, and the combat has been a joke since the second game. It's just like those boring Batman games -- all you do is counter.

Since I could get Assassin's Creed IV on Steam, but not Need for Speed, I decided to get AC4 for the PC and Need for Speed for the PS4.

Yeah, it was no surprise, we knew it would get it just like the PS3. I just think this was the first time it was officially said, though I'm not even 100% sure on that.

I can't say I blame one of the parties (not sure which though). If someone tried to rob me for my PS4, I'd shoot them as well. They wouldn't be in the hospital though; I prefer to carry my 1911.

What is his story? I mean...he mentions his weight and his inability to travel a lot. I don't know what I may have missed in his backstory and maybe he never really came out and told us his story. Did he have something happen medically or perhaps some type of accident that changed his life and then he used youtube to be his connection to the world?

Anyone know?

It is mainly his weight. Someone of his size can't exactly move around much without tiring out quickly. Travel on a plane, he needs 2 seats. I don't know if he has only other medical issues, but his size does pose some issues for normal stuff.

yeah i don't think i would sell a $600+ ps4 on craigslist to be honest. i put an add out there for $550 and got a few people asking me about it, but the way they typed i strongly doubt i would have actually met up with them, if they even wanted to.

I've simply taken to often ignoring CL people who clearly have no ability to write properly. I don't demand a formal letter but if I have the impression even using email maxes out their cognitive skills I just don't bother and ignore them.

I've only dealt with CL for purchases but never any high value stuff.

I sold a bike on there for $500, but otherwise everything was low-end. Certain items attract certain people; a specialized bicycle isn't the kind of item that is inviting a person get shot to death over.

So I'm thinking of waiting for a buy 2 get 1 black friday deal to pick up a few games. My PS4 came with BF4, which I'm really digging. So what else do I get. So far I've determined I want NBA 2k14 and maybe Need for Speed? I think I'll skill Call of Duty and Killzone, based on it seeming that BF4 has really stepped up their game and blows them out of water.

NBA2K14 is the NBA game to get, if you like basketball. Madden is using a different engine than the last gen version, and is pretty good I hear. Fifa is always good. But, other than that, there really isn't a ton of games out so far.

I haven't seen this "draw my life" video, but I've seen a few other videos of his that aren't in his Francis persona, which is arguably what made him popular. Anyway, it sounded like one of those vicious cycle sort of things where he was tormented for being big (even by his "friends"), and he took to eating as his comfort.

I've yet to see any direct comparison screenshots. Not being able to transfer my offline leagues is the real reason why I'm not upgrading to the PS4 version though. Used the money towards AC.

My ps4 has been in suspended mode all day long and I come home and it immediately starts the download for the AC4 update. Wasn't that supposed to update while suspended?

I believe that the low power state downloading feature isn't there yet.

This could be old news so take it for what you will.

Sony's post does also confirm that some features will not be available at launch and will not be added in this 1.5 update.

This includes a suspend/resume mode which keeps the PS4 in a lower power state and allows users to boot quickly into a game from standby.

don't know about that, maybe the download has to be started for it to work?
i left blacklight retribution and contrast downloading and put it on suspend, when i got home a few hours later both downloads were done

That's completely a completely different feature. It sounds like what they're talking about you can pause a game, turn console "off" (ie standby) then come back and boot right into your game without any startup screens or anything. It's the same thing the Vita does.

That has nothing to do with background downloads
