That'd be pretty sweet if I could buy the ps+ games on my phone. I'll get a ps4 some day, so I'll keep ps+ and make sure to buy anything released on my account when I can.

They showed this in one of those commercial videos. Should be neat. Gonna order my games tomorrow on amazon and hope I get them by Thursday.

Pretty cool features with the double tap of the ps button. The UI seems somewhat similar to ps3. I wonder what other options are available. The ign review mentioned the speed of apps is faster which is good. Going to be fun messing around with it Friday.

I like the UI. It seems simple enough but has a certain elegance to it. Seems easy to navigate through which is a plus to me. I'm not a fan of having a bunch of boxes pushed on screen where I have to take a second to find where my games might be. I avoid this on Windows 8.1 by going right to the desktop.

I have played Fifa on the PS4 interactive and the compression definitely takes away from the game's overall clarity. STill, the game received a very high score as sports games go. Can't wait to see what NBA 2k14 gets and next year MLB The Show which looks stunning compared to the PS3. Hair actually sways as a player moves and there's over 1,000 unique models for the crowd vs a mere 42 on the PS3.

The difference side by side is amazing to me. Granted there are some blocky areas and aliasing going on but the difference in clarity and everything is readily apparent even at this early stage.

That is awesome. Can't freaking wait for that one.

i'm liking the twitch tv integration, how you can see the chat and stuff on the side of the game screen. that is pretty neat, and you can even add a "pip" type setup if you have the ps eye camera.

I am hoping developers take advantage of this over time to show us new stuff. Have a special chat with gameplay of an upcoming title. Like during E3 or something.

Yup because right now, streaming things like E3 or other gaming conventions isn't the easiest thing. I streamed E3 on my phone then plugged my phone into the TV.

8.9...not the highest score but right along the lines I figured. I was guessing 9.0.

edit: read the review and it seems they just touch on a few things not in the PS3 and 360 review. It appears both games are the same (PS4 and XB1 show no difference both run 1080p/60). There are some clipping issues and some ball physics issues but the game seems super solid. Glad I picked this one up.

looks like we got our first review of a cross platform next gen game.

The graphics certainly look good, but my one complaint about them... the lack of AA. While the camera was panning down the court, the shimmering from the jagged edges on the sideline ...tables (?) kept standing out to me. The only bad thing is that you'd probably need 4x or higher AA just to alleviate that. Other than that, it certainly looks good. I don't even like basketball, but I'm tempted to try it out. :$

After watching the video IGN posted in full they said they played the PS4 game but not the Xbox One game. They are stamping the Xbox One name on a PS4 review. There may be differences but we will never know since they never actually play the XBox One game.

This practice is totally ridiculous IMO.

Yeah that's unacceptable, they may be the same visually but some details could be different on each system. Maybe they didn't have the option to play the full game on Xbox 1. Graphics wise they look the same to me.

It makes it hard for someone like me who will have both systems to choose the better option of the two for my games. If we are always going to end up with a review of one system and both platforms labeled in the title we will never know which one is actually played unless they tell us. There may be games where one platform is clearly the better version but we wouldn't be able to get that information from reviews. They may be the same or the xb1 might have the better version for one reason or another and I would really like to be able to find this out somehow as time goes on.

Not being able to charge controllers unless the system is on was one of the most annoying design decisions with the PS3. Glad they fixed it.
