Some people are saying maybe ultra street fighter iv will be ps4 exclusive. I dunno if i believe that.

its tying into that hadouken cab video that started viral last week, and then this past weekend capcom made an announcement for an announcement that they will have this week in regards to usf4. it's 100% speculation at this point, but it's based on those 2 events.
and if that is the case, then i'm 100% keeping one of my ps4's.
From browsing Reddit it appears that anyone who preordered a game was sent an email with a unique code for the promo. A few who ordered two games were given codes for one free, those like myself who ordered one were given a b1g1 code, and IIRC a few who only ordered the systems were given b2g1 codes.
Looks like they're trying to get everyone who ordered something from them a b2g1 deal at the end.
My games are already either shipping or in process of, I should get two tomorrow and one the day after. I'm just curious though because the games I ordered have a street date of the 12th, and the console is the 15th does the console have launch day delivery or will I be waiting. Guess we'll find out Wednesday if they start sending out shipping notifications.
Well, at this point, Microsoft has the X1-exclusive Killer Instinct where Sony just has the next-gen-exclusive Injustice. I don't follow the fighting scene much, but I don't recall hearing about Injustice being super popular. So, if Sony wants to make a splash in that realm, an established franchise like Street Fighter could go a long way.
i HIGHLY doubt that this is going to happen for the sheer fact that evo is going to be played on 360 consoles this next year, and it's the first time in the history of evo that it won't be running on sony consoles.
I'm... not sure how EVO matters from a business standpoint. I'm talking about Sony needing an exclusive fighting game that is popular. Given that Dead Rising 3 is a XBOX-One-exclusive game, Capcom already has already established that they'll "sell out" a franchise. Why not sell out another one?![]()
because capcom is a HUGE part of evo, and evo is the biggest fighting game tourney by a long shot in the usa. it could potentially be a huge negative towards capcom from the us audience viewpoint.
and you mention capcom selling out - i don't see them selling out in this case because that means lost $$. it's clear that capcom only cares about the money, and unless sony is paying them 10s of millions of dollars in lost sales for an xbox1 version of the fighter, i strongly doubt they will make a sony exclusive game.
Looking at more of the page, Microsoft is the publisher for the game, which means they most likely funded the development. I think the only difference is the importance of the series as Dead Rising is far less important than staples such as Street Fighter. Although, we saw what Capcom did with Mega Man (i.e. nothing! The game was revealed as originally being developed with high-end PCs in mind so the team could realise their expanded vision for the series, before Microsoft offered to partner with them for it to become an Xbox One launch exclusive.
i still don't think it will happen though. another hint (hint to me at least) that it wouldn't is that madcatz has a fight stick coming to the x1 at launch and doesn't even have it lined up to be coming out on the ps4 (yet, i'm sure it will). i'm pretty sure madcatz and capcom have a very tight relationship as well, and having the game on both consoles will help out both companies more in the long run.
If I remember correctly, that comes out tomorrow.

i'd only be psyched because that means i could get rid of the 360 from my current setup because sf4 will be the only reason i keep it hooked up. that is, if it's ultra sf4.
What does this app supposedly do?
I got an email from Sony entertainment saying my password has been updated. Weird I never requested that, can't be good.
Also Evo announced that for the 2014 tourney season that the Xbox 360 had been chosen as the official platform. So it may behoove Sony to attempt to gain exclusive rights to Ultra Street Fighter 4 but I honestly do not see that happening. Not that it would matter as the game is going to be on PS3/360 anyhow. As for selling out a game (referring to dead rising 3 on XB1) they have not announced whether Deep Down will be on XBox One and speculation is that it will be PS4 exclusive.
Same for my PS3.
IGN has a video review of Fifa 14 on PS4 here http://www.ign.com/videos/2013/11/11/fifa-14-next-gen-video-review
even in 1080p, that video does not do fifa justice as far as graphics go. the graphics look MUCH better in person than it does in that video.
Hot damn, that is the biggest diff between current and next gen I've seen for any of the cross-gen titles.I have played Fifa on the PS4 interactive and the compression definitely takes away from the game's overall clarity. STill, the game received a very high score as sports games go. Can't wait to see what NBA 2k14 gets and next year MLB The Show which looks stunning compared to the PS3. Hair actually sways as a player moves and there's over 1,000 unique models for the crowd vs a mere 42 on the PS3.

The difference side by side is amazing to me. Granted there are some blocky areas and aliasing going on but the difference in clarity and everything is readily apparent even at this early stage.

The Show 14 just became an instant must buy for me now. I thought 13 would hold me over a couple years.. but not anymore.
Anyone have screen shots of the differences for Madden on PS3/PS4? Doubt I'd make the upgrade this year unless someone decides to do the $10 upgrade like the One has anyways.
It's pretty much the equivalent of Microsoft's XBOX app. You should be able to chat with your friends, buy stuff from the PSN Store and tell your device to download it.
