Lol...in some ways I agree with his points but I can't live in the nostalgia of the past forever. I am ready to move on and it is only another week to go.

yeah, it's almost like now, any game that has graphics better than snes automatically sucks. just like any game that is popular automatically sucks.

Graphics is why we spend 400+ for these consoles and video cards for the pc. Its expected with each new system that graphics improve especially with the new video gpu's out and many other improvements.

I'm not even talking about SNES. I'm talking about people not taking a second look at a BRAND NEW game on the basis that it "just looks like a PS3 game but in 1080"

Yet a game that's been done 100 times last gen that is KNOWN to have no story or gameplay is "zomg 733t graphix!"

And you guys want to call me old and bitter and clinging to the past, yet guess who is getting a PS4 and buying games for it instead of "canceling my preorder because launch graphix meh"

and since you don't know what "looks next gen" means, it means looks like a step up, graphically, from anything that the ps3 and xbox360 can do.

I think I'm going to get Knack for sure now just on principle. I just hope the GAME itself doesn't actually suck when I PLAY it and not just drool at the zomg graphix.

The game is out and available to buy but there is no ps4 to play it on yet lol.

All we have played is a demo from e3. I can't judge the entire thing on that. I may still buy it, the demo didn't turn me off entirely by any means.

You gave a comprehensive review of the gameplay and had legitimate concerns woth it being a uninspiring simple platformer and having issues with frame rate that could make the game not enjoyable, you didn't just scoff ONLY because it didn't look "moar realistic enuff" to be a PS4 game.

There is an unhealthy obsession with photorealistic graphics in this community, even with games that are obviously not even supposed to be realistic looking.

Zomg a stylized hand drawn cartoon tank isn't as "gud grafx" as a photograph and CAD model of a real tank!!1!

And from what I've seen it looks...plain, like there aren't even at least static lightmaps. Flat and repetitive textures spanning large surfaces, etc. Yes I get it.

But given NFL/UFC/NBA/COD with better graphics or Knack or a console that stays in its box for 6 months... If I want a sports game Ill pick them up in the used bin for 10 cents when they have 30 of each of them they can't get rid of.

Currently looking to pick up Knack, Killzone, and ????

Probably going to get AC for the third game. Mostly so there is SOME reason to open the PS4 and because the B2G1F deal. I've never owned, played, or had any interest in KZ or AC.

Honestly disappointed in the launch, but I'm not going to shun the only new IP at launch without giving it a honest try because it doesn't look like a AAA+++ game.

I am getting a shooter itch after playing 3 Zelda games back to back. Maybe try Borderlands 2 again or New Vagas though.

Nephew is unfortunately a COD bot... Maybe Ill let him oh and aw over Killzone while I get lost in Link Between Worlds.

no clue, that is why it's interesting heh. i'm really hoping that ultra sv4 comes to xbox1/ps4, and as of now i'm fully expecting it to. maybe this is the first sign that it is?
