Really all those games for the price of one? I dunno if that's true I may also pick it up just to play jak and dexter and maybe other stuff I missed.

That's what is out there on the net, no way to know for sure right now since this isn't officially announced. I think this is a card in their pocket to play once we get closer to launch - but I would bet money its true and only $59.99

while it is a great collection, people are really that excited about buying a ps4 and playing a bunch of ps3 games on it? it isn't like these are going to be hd remakes or anything.

but i guess if you missed them first go around it would be cool. many of those games have little to no replay value.

I see it as there won't be tons of games available launch day so gives you an option to start off with a decent library on the cheap that you can play directly from the console.

Its just a backward compatibility card. They have the emulator for PS,2,and 3 all worked out and the rumor is that all the blockbuster titles for all 3 will be released subsequently over 2013 and into 2014

I see it as the same thing, people buy ps4 maybe with one game. While they save up for the next game, you get this collection to keep some busy.

I plan on buying 4 games at launch when I pick up my system but who knows what may happen financially until then. If I were only able to get one or two games, I would gladly get the bundle. It would save me trying to find where to hook up my ps3.

I thought any emulated games weren't played directly on the console? I thought BC was completely gone in the PS3, and they're using that streaming service thing to accomplish it.

That is all true.

Sony could be making those titles (since they are all Sony IP's) work on the PS4 just like you can buy PS2 games on the pSN to play on your non backwards compatible PS3.

yeah. I've had my PS3 for many years--the lovely 60gb BC version--and I've bought maybe 4? games for it. I missed the PS3 GoW games, all of Uncharted and pretty much every thing on that list, really.

If I pick up a PS4, I'm gonna grab that bundle.

Sorry bad wording on my part, I meant vs going back to play on your PS3.

PC is always going to lead the pack as far as visuals and graphics are concerned, this dates all the way back to the N64 days even. If you consider the hardware the "next gen" consoles are using, it is already pretty dated as far as a desktop is concerned. It definitely is not new hardware by any stretch. If you primarily game on the PC (like I used to), then console graphics will always look sub-par to you.

Watch Dogs is a cross gen title too, so it isn't going to exactly going to be amazing looking for next gen. I expect this new gen of consoles will look like PC games at high settings currently, at least for a little while.

You aren't usually wowed by much at the start of a new generation, because developers are just learning about the machines. Sure, we will get better graphics, but it won't be until the second round of games that we start to see what this generation can do.
