I'm positive The Last Guardian comes out this year. Hopefully it is cross released on to the PS4 as well.
 
Yeah, I am hoping a lot of the titles coming out this year get ported quickly to the PS4, otherwise I will have to wait quite awhile for them. =(
 
So will it be coming to the PS4? Because if so, that would be a big deal and may help swing me to Sony next generation. I love MMO's, but don't have many on consoles that are worth playing.

bit scary how little there is on it, seen a few blurbs that it was damn cool and didn't follow the standard.. but what game hasn't claimed that. I have high hopes.. EQ was and still is my all time favorite MMORPG.. no I cant play it nowadays as its aged pretty poorly, but in its day.. It was the stuff...Even detuned for easy as it is now its no "doh, push a button, win" that WoW is.. (and i like wow, but the continued "make it so easy a monkey could play it" direction its going is just sad. Still Eq Next info is long an hard coming.. and any i have seen is so generic its worthless.. would be nice to see something worth seeing sometime.

I doubt it is coming to the PS4. That picture is just for upcoming SCE games and EQ Next is just the only one for the PC.

Two Final Fantasy games I will probably buy and a children's game I won't. Not much to see here. Although, I am interested in what exactly that other FF title is. A realm re [membered?] / [visited?]. Maybe a reboot or look back into a previous FF game. Or maybe a remake. I probably will skip that if that is the case. Unless they remake FF6, in next gen graphics. And hire good voice actors.
 
If they bring final fantasy back to the days before FF X, and remove the BS emo characters that one one gives a fuck about, then I might consider playing a new one.
 
To the days before FF X? You mean when they were all Chibi characters? Or when they were BS emo kids with spikey hair and big swords? Yeah, that was around long before FF X. I just wish they would get rid of all the kids in JRPGs. I hate kids, and they serve nothing but to annoy me and be gimped characters overall.
 
Kingdoms Heart isn't a childs game. They have the appearance of being cutesy due to using Disney characters but the core titles are very solid JRPG's

No. I have to question the very real possibility I care less about them than you, which may put us both into negative-caring territory. Last one I played was FFX. I find them absurdly linear and juvenile.

The Internet will explode if they announce that Kingdom Hearts III will be coming out within a year (at least in Japan)! If Final Fantasy XV is really just Final Fantasy Versus XIII like what has been rumored, the Internet will explode twice over! I mean... whenever I see an article on Square-Enix and I read the comments, there are almost always quite a few "Where's Versus XIII?" and "Where's KH3?"

Kingdom Hearts isn't really a kiddy game though. It does feature Disney characters, but it's more about adventuring in their themed worlds and battling foes from them. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 is coming out later this year and it will include Kingdom Hearts 1 (Final Mix), Chains of Memories (originally a GBA game) and a movie adaptation of 358/2 Days.

Frankly, if Final Fantasy XV is Versus XIII and it seems to be more like what we've seen so for Versus XIII in the past, I'll be pleased.

That last one is the revamp of Final Fantasy XIV as it's now titled Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
 
I played a little bit of one kingdom hearts a long time ago with a friend that was stuck. She knew I was a gamer, so she asked if I could help her out. It didn't seem like a bad game at all, so I am thinking about checking out the 1.5 remake when it comes out later this year.

I can say that if you're not a fan of the whole turn-based combat using menus and such, Kingdom Hearts will probably feel a lot better given it's a real-time action game. I haven't played the game since the first one on the PS2, but I do recall there being a menu for doing more advanced things such as using abilities.

what's Chibi?

yeah, it was pretty emo-y starting with FFVII I guess, but at least you weren't stuck with those terrible voice actors. It achieved new heights, though, with the asshole characters in FFX and later. Oh wait, I forgot that little bitch, Squall. 😀

Kindgom Hearts a children's game? Hah!

Not enough explosions and tits for you I guess. And it's easy to get lost when the path branches in more than one direction. Must be terrible for you!
