I think they are still testing the prices out. Hopefully they change or no one would be interested. They are assuming everyone got rid of their ps3 consoles.

I was expecting more of a flat monthly fee and separate pricing for a few select games. Something like $15/month would be more reasonable IMO.

Maybe even $10 or so. And access to all ps3 games available on there. Then have different prices for brand new games I suppose. Like $15 a month to play any of the new games.

Pricing aside, I must say I'm not that thrilled about the PS Now game selection. Where's God of War? Kingdom Hearts? Uncharted? Ico and SotC? I'm looking for classic exclusives, not things I could have already played on the 360. On the other hand, if they want to give those games the full HD treatment for PS4 per "The Last of Us", I'm OK with that too. 🙂

So, is anyone else considering XB1 games over PS4 due to not having the resume function yet? Having a 5 months old, getting time to play is very hit and miss. Since getting the XB1, I have come to appreciate the instant resume feature. Basically, Forza 5 has been running the entire time I have had the console and I get a race in whenever I can. I was dead set on getting Madden, Fifa and a couple others for the PS4 but now I'm having second thoughts.

I know it should be coming. Not sure how far out after that blu Ray update. Seems now that they got all the stability updates out, they will start with the feature updates.

The resume is nice but itds not a deal breaker for me considering all I use to play on my xbone was plants vs zombies. I actually prefer getting games on the PS4 just because they run better

Nope since half the time I have to shut down my xb1 completely because a game or app won't load. That makes resume useless.

A lot of times I play a different game each time I turn the ps4 on. Wouldn't the resume require the disc to be left in the system? I don't really know if that is a safe thing to do.

For whatever game I am playing at the time, I leave the disk in the drive full time.

I have more digital stuff then discs right now for the ps4. I stay busy with trials fusion, resogun and pure pool. I don't think I'd notice the resume on my ps4 I switch games frequently

i stay busy with work and haven't touched my consoles in ages 🙁

Wish I could say the same thing, I jacked my back up at work and go to a spine specialist tomorrow, more then likely I'll be getting back surgery #2 soon. I've been off two weeks already, the time off is nice but it sucks when your hurt and can't even bend over.

Honestly, I wouldn't use the resume feature all that much. The PS4 sucks too much power in standby mode so I just turn it off when I'm done. However, it was a promised feature at E3 2013 and a lot of folks are asking where it is. It's basically become the PS4's in-game XMB. I would expect to see it in a 2.0 update sometime in the fall, if the PS3's firmware history is anything to go by.

I actually don't recommend anybody get a PS4 or XB1 right now. Simply because their libraries are pretty soft and some features are still missing. 2015 will come with much more content and hopefully improvements to the OS.

What I see people forget is being able to watch your friend stream a game and hop in to take over their game remotely to help them out.

I think a lot of what we heard about are ideas that had no implementation at all and are going to be worked on for a long time until we see them.

I still enjoy my ps4 and xb1. No regrets on either one.

Yea I wonder when that will happen. My guess is when far cry 4 is out as that game is suppose to let people in your game to play with you. Sony is very slow on software updates and implementation of new features it seems.

Well, that is the downside that I experience with my XB1 also. Forza over time will start having stuttering issues or broken audio. Also find that the MLB.tv app stops working often, while the PS4 version is near perfect. I just struggle with cross platform games due to the quality/consistency vs feature.

Yeah... It is a trade off between ps4 and xb1 usually. I normally opt for the ps4 version of a cross platform game because I like the controller better and know more people on ps4 for MP. Then I lose kinect features for stuff that is actually kind of neat and useful.

I have no problems with my XB1, but then again I have never used resume. From day one I set it to do a full shutdown/startup. I feel the same way about desktop PCs that use sleep/hibernate.

My PC has been on, full time 24/7 since I built it. Unless the power goes out, it stays powered up.

I'm not saying it causes problems, only that I tend to avoid low power states. Not every action has to be rational to offer satisfaction, in fact, I will go further to say that in my experience that many times the most satisfaction comes from the least rational. 🙂
