I'll have to look into chromecast. I like to buy episodes of shows I don't have because of hbo and so on..and those stay on my pc since the hard drive isn't even close to being full.

Good for you...we don't care. I mean you were probably never going to buy a PS4 and were always gonna buy an xbox just cause it's xbox. You wanna make yourself feel good about it by making the type of post you did.

Pretty much. If this was the thing that you say changed your purchase of a game console, chances were you weren't buying it anyways.
 
Went to GameStop yesterday because I heard they had early copies of Kill Zone and controllers. Managed to play Knack for 10-15 minutes and liked it. The GFX didn't really seem much different than what current gen could do but it was fun. I think I'm going to wait for this game when it goes on sale. I like the new controller a lot and managed to snag a copy of Kill Zone Shadow Fall.

I think knack will not be 60 bucks at least at target. That add we saw, says you buy 2 games and get the cheapest free. So my guess not all the games will be full price. I want to play knack but no gamestop in my area has a playable system.

knack is a full retail $60 game.
 
I'm not sure what to pick at target. Bf4 is one of them, killzone looks just like another shooter, knack I do want to get. Assassins creed black flag, unsure about. Ghosts I'll be picking up with the console. Sport games I can pick up later used.

Same! Just surpassed my 500th Blu!

Amazon switched my ship order on Knack, so will be delivered around the same time as the console now, which is great. Really looking forward to playing it. I have not purchased a $60 console game, maybe ever, so hopefully I enjoy these ones!

Another dumb question; I have buddies with FIFA 14 for their PS3, can I play against them online? I would assume yes since it is all just through the PS+ or whatever, but who knows.

Probably not. Most gross generation games have not allowed this kind of play. Tell your buddies (if they get a PS4) to not be cheap and upgrade to the PS4 version for $10!

Yes, but that would mean they would have to buy a PS4 as well! Some of them will in the next couple of months, but just wanted to know for those other cheapos. 😀

Nah it won't work if they don't have a ps4. They would need the system. The faq says this I think.

If I keep my system I'll pick up fifa used. There is no campaign really, need to have good friends to play with or you have to be really good to play against others online.

Personally I would get battlefield on PC and killzone on ps4.

It applies to more than just ps4 games.

Well I am pretty decent on my tablet, but somehow I don't think that will translate to online PS4 play. :hmm:

I'll probably play Knack the most on opening weekend anyway. I don't think I played a single online game when I had my PS3.
