At 9PM last night there was only one camper at my best buy, so I decided I wouldn't camp overnight.

got to my target at 6:30 am. #51 out of 90 availible....... looks like I will get one afterall.

The nearby K-mart only had 7 wii's, and the Wal-Mart only had 20.

Got in line outside Bestbuy at 6:30 this morning. They came out around 8:00 and started handing out tickets... they had 60. I was 61st in line. FVCK

We got to Walmart at about 6:50am, and ended up being #8. Woot! I got extra controllers plus Zelda.

BTW, we looked at a few targets. The one near us getting 210 had a line tha tmust have been 300 people long.


EDIT: It's downloading a software update now.

I also checked out Target (people had been waiting all night and they only had 24, no chance) and Circuit city (Line of about 100 people 3 hours before store opened, and they only had 40).

I'm wondering if I should even bother now. I've got like 15 or 16 stores to check out but I really don't feel like going to all of them.

20 at the local Walmart sold out before I got there. 12 at Circuit City. I didn't even bother with the long line at Best Buy across the street.

I'm glad I made a driveby early this morning. I got to Target @ 4:45 and was #28 in line. They had 33 consoles. By 5 there were 33 in line.

edit: oh yeah, it sucks they only supply composite cables...

I dunno what the reviewers are talking about. Wii Sports is AWESOME!

NO componenets here either, though. Stuck with Composite for now. :| For whatever reason, the Forecast and News aren't working, but I haven't had time to look at it.

What I want to know is why did all these people (talking about the video game media) make believe that they could just walk into a store today and buy one? Nintendo could have shipped 10 million today and they probably would have sold out. Blah.
