Says game hardware excluded.

stopped by my target to check it out see if they put out accessories so I can buy it advance.
there's only two people who decided to camp out. I'll swing by later tonight and see if the line grew at all or not.
I figure i'll be out there around 615am or so. according to those inventory lookup sites, my target as 81. target about 8 minutes away has about 80 also. oddly enough the target that's in the poor area which has the newest and slightly largest only has 24.

Just was at my local walmart that's doing a midnight launch. There are only 20 units available and there were 40 people in line when I got there at 9:30. Also, this is in a small town of only 7,000 or so people....
Red Steel isn't completely devoid of merit, but it's a half-baked, buggy game that feels rushed and poorly executed. There's a good concept in here somewhere, as a swords-and-guns shooter pitting you against yakuza villains certainly seems like it could be very exciting. However, the experience itself hardly fulfills any of the promises behind it. So if you're looking for an exciting new way to simulate gunning or cutting lots of dudes down using the Wii Remote, you'd best keep looking.

Not all that surprised, really. I could tell from a long way off from the early previews that it was probably going to turn out as a 'meh' game.
I'm not buying Wii for Red Steel though, I'm buying it for Zelda.

i am getting on board this whole wii phenom a little late but it's been growing on me i was just curious if some place are doing first come first serve, like either target, best buy or what other big stores might be doing that. Also anyone have an average idea of how many each store is getting. Lastly how late do you think a person would have to get in line to get one of these. say the store opens at 9 would 4 or 5 am be ok?
you should be able to walk into stores tomorrow and pick it up, without camping. most stores will have PLENTY of these things. I'm not talkin bout EB or Gamestop though, I'm talkin about stores like Target or Best Buy. They will have plenty of them. I don't have the link, but there is a link for the target allocations of Wii's. I have like 6 target's near me and they are all getting ATLEAST 60 units. One guy posted on here his Best Buy will have like 150 or so. When I was in a line at BB for PS3 raffle, they told me the backroom was full of Wii's, and they were getting shipments daily this past week so it kept getting more and more abundent.
I think you won't have to camp out is my point

I'm in Northern VA. At 10PM tonight I started my trek... way too late, apparently.
Every Walmart (I called 6) had more people in line than Wiis. The Toys R Us in Alexandria that is doing the midnight launch had a line at least 150 deep for an advertised 84 units (dumb people).
Looks like a 4 AM rise from bed tomorrow to hit the Fair Lakes shopping center with a BB, Target, & TRU all in one location.

Just came back from Walmart. About 50 people in line and only 20 units.
I'm going to try Target in the morning. If I can't get one tommorrow at Target, I'm not buying one until the DVD model is released in late 2007.
