I didn't play much KI competitively or extensively. I will probably try everyone out and end up with whoever matches my style. I prefer more rush down oriented characters.

Although, now I'm wondering... how useful is this as an all-around fight stick? I'm guessing that it won't work with the PS4, and since X1 controller support in Windows isn't available at launch will the fight stick work at launch? It's not a matter of wireless vs. wired, because the X1 controller becomes wired if you plug it in. :hmm:
 
I don't think the Windows X1 controller driver is released. I'd imagine support would be spotty, depending on how well it uses a generic driver.

I can't imagine SF 4 Ultra won't make it to the Xbox One, as well as some form of Marvel.

all around for x1? it will be great.

all around for both consoles? won't know for a while. i'm sure within a few months there will be someone who will have a dual modded one and it will take off.

i also strongly believe that the new sf4 will be coming out on x1 (and ps4) and that madcatz knows that, which is another reason they are making these. they HAVE to know that there are fighters in the pipe to make these. i do know injustice has been confirmed for ps4 already.
 
Too bad calling Injustice fun is an injustice. >_>

I couldn't imagine MadCatz making these just for KI without any other fighters in the pipeline. The FCG would not be too kind to that kind of stuff.

It seems my terminology wasn't very good. :$ When I say "all-around", I mean that it isn't stuck just being usable with the X1. I guess it's not a big deal if you don't fully transition to the X1, which means you'll keep a 360 (or PS3 or omni) stick around, which work fine with a PC.

lol yeah, i mean i don't know why you would get an x1 joystick if you aren't going to be using an x1. there are no joysticks that work on both ps3 and xbox360 out of the box, they all have to be duel modded. there are some 3rd party companies that do sell them, online only, but it's against both ms and sony's terms to do that and those guys could get in trouble for it. so you will never see a big time company like madcatz make a dual modded stick.

im 100% confident that there will be dual modded te2's by like week 2 of the consoles being out. not that it matters though, since there are 0 games to use one on with ps4.

There is a few that are dual modded out of the box, but they are not big names like the TE or HRAP.

im 100% confident that there will be dual modded te2's by like week 2 of the consoles being out. not that it matters though, since there are 0 games to use one on with ps4.

I am sure, as soon as the stick is released, someone will start working on it. The problem is a lot of more causal users aren't comfortable modding them. I've seen a few booths set up in tournaments for people to pay someone to do it for them.

Maybe someone whose followed KI more can tell me, what the heck is a Sadira? I don't remember ever playing with her. Maybe I missed a KI though. She looks like a more masculine Vega.
