However I don't think that this will be a very good judge at all b/c it takes into account the blank screens when nothing but text is displayed as well as the loading screen. People with faster computers but identical video cards to others should have lower scores b/c their loading screen will load faster thereby decreasing the amount of extremely high fps's that are avg'ed into the final score.

Hey, I just did the same bench from Eyeball to stepping out of the car. You may be right about different rig speeds, but I think this is still better because even the black screens seem to be included in an entire sequence which is clocked by movie time, not rig dependent load time.

Hey I just noticed something! I was watching my OSD with ATI Tray Tools, and the FREE VIDEO MEMORY dropped to 30MB, and then kept dropping to 7MB, and then I had a serious stutter, and then jumped to 170MB. Clearly the video ram is filling up and then dumping what it doesn't need, but it's not done smoothly even with a 256MB card. Can somebody try this out with one of those 512MB cards that everyone says are "so overkill" right now? I'd like to find out how this will scale with the new ATI cards 512MB and SM3!

Somebody test this out with 512MB of GPU ram (preferably at maxed settings, as that is what high end users really care about)
