This Yoshi game looks amazing. Both visually and Yoshi's Island was absolutely awesome. Man I kind of want a Wii U suddenly lol.
You're not the only one suddenly wanting a Wii U...
Unfortunately we are still a ways away from ZeldaI may have to buy a Wii U now. Open world Zelda looks amazing. Supposedly all done in engine. Seems Nintendo has the kind of games I actually want to play. Getting a bit bored of grey-washed shooters and zombie games that Sony and MS keep putting out.

Just said 2015... we all know what that means.
I have a deep seated love for Pokemon from being a kid but I wish they'd do something a little different with the IP - I still think a Pokemon MMO would go gangbusters.

Overall, Microsoft still gets the clear win for me. Many games I want from them, many of them soon. There are probably twice as many games I want from Microsoft in late-2014 than there are total library and upcoming games on the Wii U that I want through 2015.
This made-up thing about "grey-washed shooters and zombie games," is ridiculous beyond reason. The only shooter Microsoft showed was Halo, which isn't grey-washed. I mean, they technically showed CoD but that's not their making (nor is Battlefield, which EA showed). Dead Rising 3 is the only zombie game I recall exclusive to either console, while Nintendo itself has Zombii U so the complaint there is unwarranted.
Stop making things up and actually look at what each console has for exclusives. Sunset Overdrive (I guess it's pseudo-zombie) is ridiculous, colorful, and cool. Fableisn't grey-washed, a shooter, or a zombie game (though not a franchise I care for). We're getting a mess of indie stuff on both consoles. Zoo Tycoon is already out, and Little Big Planet is coming. Project Spark has almost-limitless potential. I don't know how people can still make this claim that it's all shooters on either console, because it's not even THE MAJORITY that makes up shooters anymore.
Sorry, I'm dumb...what does it mean? I might actually try this out, as a non-Zelda fan who wants more Wii U games.
During the xbox conference, several games said they were using dedicated servers. Did they mean servers to host online mp modes or did they mean cloud processing power even in sp games? Ms lead us to believe their grand vision was cloud processing power for sp games but I am having a hard time seeing how that could ever be utilized.
Yes, it's quite clear that I live in a fantasy world. More like someone's a little butthurt that I'm personally getting a bit sick of those games. If you like them, that's fine. People's tastes change. Don't see why you have to call me a lier. That's a little uncalled for.

I thought MS and Sony were pretty even this year (unlike last year when Sony trounced the crap out of them). All I got out of Nintendo's announcements is that the Wii U is still doomed.
nintendo letting me down as usual
for example the yoshi game looks cute but it just seems like it's a regular yoshi game but they decided to throw in a gimmick. In this case everything being made of yarn. The series has been good except for that touch n go game. Not sure i'd call it a must buy.
i'd like to see some more online stuff. Maybe a 16 player bomberman or something.
Gamefly is way less than that.
It sounded like multiplayer servers to me. Honestly, I'm rather glad to see the change as the idea of paying Microsoft money for XBOX Live Gold when all they provide is matchmaking is just a slap in the face.
