I haven't really played vs. a human opponent yet, so I'm sure there'll be some growing pains for me there. BTW, good luck when you go against Ohio State. They're ranked #1 right now, but I saw that Terrelle Pryor went down with a season ending injury, so I hope they get clobbered around a bit. I don't see them this season, so my (slim) rose bowl hopes depend on someone else beating them I think.

I beat Ohio State at Ohio State in a Play Now game in the last 20 seconds. I will have a much tougher time of it in our franchise.
 
I hate this damned game. REALLY tired of their acrobatic INTs but several of their passes hitting my stationary defenders and I have one INT the whole season. I am about done.
 
FINALLY a good game offensively. I was 16-24 for 289 yds, 2 TD, and 1 EXTREMELY BS INT. I am REALLY tired of the turnover BS in the game.

What are your gameplan settings for pass defense? Anecdotally, I find that if you crank the pass defense to "aggressive," you'll get quite a few INTs whereas if you set it to "conservative", your corners will go for swats every time, even if it seems like it would be an easy INT.

Are you referring to the Defensive Playcall Aggressive Style setting under Team Management-->Coach Philosophy?
 
Guys, we have a couple of games left this week (Cuda and CharlestonUSC). Do you guys think you can play your games tonight so I can advance tomorrow?

Yeah I will try and take care of it tonight. Usually I get my games knocked out quickly but I'm in the middle of a move into a new home. Getting everything set up and still waiting for bellsouth to come hook up internet. I'll get it done as soon as I get internet.

That's no excuse. Take your tv and Xbox down to the local Starbuks and get it over with. I've been inactive for a week now due to having a bye.
 
I don't mind the wait, but just FYI if the season doesn't get advanced soon, I might not be able to play my next week's game in time (before Sunday). I'm out of town Thursday-Sunday.

yeah get over yourself i've already dealt with a bye week and it sucked! Just SIM my game and advance the week. If i lose i'll get over it. It's only a video game.
 
Not sure when I can play my game this week since the advance was delayed. I might have 30 minutes between the time I get home from work and when I have to leave town. I might also have time Sunday night, but not sure when I'm gonna get back.

I don't want to sound too anal about this because it's not a huge deal, but when you post "week advanced" notices, can you also post a deadline along with it? Like, "week advanced, games due by midnight EST, Sunday, September XXX." It'll make things easier for me in terms of figuring out when I have to play my games and scheduling time.
 
Technically, all weeks are to be advanced on Sunday night by the time I go to bed -- like at 10 PM EST. I've been lax lately and have not been advancing on time due to other stuff going on. Are we ready to advance this week?

Oh I completely understood the sarcasm. I thought my comment was laced clearly with it in return. I just meant that it sucks when you have a bye week b/c there is NOTHING to do in your dynasty. I guess I seriously underestimated the entire "advancing weekly" thing and didn't realize how much I wish it was once every few days. Oh well.

I hear ya. That's why I have my own private league with a 5 star team to hold me over. I will say that I do enjoy the spread offense of Cincinnati a little more than the various formations of Ohio State.

Yeah I have my own offline dynasty also with S Car. Unfortunately after always losing one game to prevent me from playing for a title I decided to go else where. Now I'm at Michigan and I really don't like it at all. I think after this year I'm going to resign and take another job at maybe Duke or Syracuse. I want to be in a conference where I can build a team into a conference contender without getting destroyed during the process.

Guys, I realize it is taking awhile to advance. I'm more than willing to give someone else commissioner rights so they can help advance if I forget or get busy.

Well you're usually the last one to get your game in. So as soon as you get your game done you can advance it. I mean when you go to dynasty central and it shows that everyone is ready to advance we can just roll it. But if you need someone else to run co-commish with you i'm up for it. Just let me know.

Actually, the last few weeks, I usually get my games in pretty quickly. Where I really lag behind is on the recruiting. Sometimes, it is just a drag and takes forever. It makes me miss the old Madden drafts. 🙂

I did advance last night.

Yep and I completed my game this morning against Vandy. Whoever is Cuda is the one who is usually the last to finish up there game. But it doesn't matter either way.
