I think it is wrong for a party to take advantage of a man suffering with mental issues as Joe is obviously having problems.

It is my opinion that if elected he will not last a full year before he is out of office either by forced out ( 25th ) or bailing out for health issues.
So you believe ~17 Republican senators are going to vote to make Kamala Harris president? Is this a joke?

Setting a reminder to revisit this at the end of 2021.

How are you defining socialism, 'working', and diverse?

For example what the US has today is even more socialist than what US conservatives described as socialism in the 1950's and it's generally worked just fine. What I imagine you would consider 'socialism' today is a Nordic style welfare state and those clearly work fine - better than our system.

It is not that social welfare states break down in the face of diversity, it's that they are never implemented to begin with.

I would also note that shorthand for what I was talking about is 'racism' and so it would be interesting for conservatives to start arguing that the US is too racist for the social welfare state considering their repeated claims to the contrary.
Isn't a welfare state what's wanted? UHC, forgive student loans, free collage education, UBI. All of it paid for by extensive taxation?

I have no idea, but it is possible. I do think Joe will do as he is told and step down on his own.
So you think not just one, not just two, but somewhere near 20 Republican senators and several dozen Republican House reps are going to conspire with Nancy Pelosi to place a ‘Trojan horse radical liberal’ in the presidency?

Wut. I hope you’re drunk already or something because this is bananas.

Well you said it doesn’t work due to diversity and so I’m trying to figure out how you’re defining those things.

Again though, this misses the point. Diverse countries are less likely to pass them to begin with. Once they do they rarely go away because the populace loves it.

Even Tucker Carlson said it was a mistake to go after Joe Biden's mental faculties after the first debate. Trump literally did everything he could to set off an old dude having mental problems and literally nothing happened. But Tucker Carlson is probably a moderate liberal to you now for daring even say that, and now part of the deep state so that's not saying much:

I think the only people with real mental problems are the Trumpists that believe all the drivel that comes out of Trump's mouth and repeat these tired disprovable talking points like you have here.

Mail in ballots are entirely moronic.

If you want to do things intelligently, then electronically is the way to go.

One can't get lost because it's not physical.
One can easily produce additional backups - if you have a fear of the data being compromised or missing.
One can have a LOG of EXACTLY where it originated - where it moved to - and where it currently is.
One can have FAR more authentication, authorizations, and security protocols in place.
One can be easily audited - and compared to see if there were any changes in the data from when it was originally produced.

I've done it a few times in IL and it seemed to work fine. Got an email when the ballot was received so I wasn't worried.

Colorado seems to have the optimal system in place.

Before results come in it shall be Aviation gin Negronis, a typical evening drink in this house.

After that going well is on the left and going poorly is on the right.
