What the heck, I'll throw my hat into the ring:
- Metroid Dread will be officailly announced for the DS.
- DNF will ship in 2008 and will be awesome.
- The X360 and PS3 will see price reductions across the board, but the Wii will continue to be $250
- The Witcher gets a console port.
- The DS will continue to top the charts every single month of the year.
- Rock Band will have the most successful (read: Downloaded) DLC content of all time.
- MGS4 will be officailly announced for the X360.
- FFXIII will be officially announced for the X360.
- Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be announced for the Wii.
- Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Bioshock 2 will all be announced.
- A new game in the BioShock universe will be announced (read: Not a action FPS).
- Nintendo will announce a new Zelda for the Wii that is, this time, built from the ground up for the Wii. (I hope hope hope)
- Okami, when officially comes out for the Wii, will only see a minor improvement and that will be widescreen and 480P support.

- We will see 2 new SKU from both Sony and Microsoft exculding any special edition types (Halo X360)
- Home will get delayed until Winter 2008.
- Little Big Planet will become the surprise killer app for the Ps3 beating out MGS4 due to it's casual and co-op nature.
- Halo 4 will be announced w/o Bungie developing it, and the collective sigh of all the Halo fans causes a catagory 5 hurricane.
- We will see 6 new Guitar Hero games with 2 of them centering around a specific band and another one around the 70s.
- The video game industry will expand by 4 billion dollars.
- The PS3 will finally exceed PS2 sales.
- Wii Fit stays in the top 10 of software sales from its release through 2008.
- The Played Podcast gets on a nice bi-weekly schedule and averages 20-30 minutes an episode.
- GTA4 becomes the first franchise ever to become a system seller for two rival platforms and exceeds 3 millions units sold by the end of the year.
- Hellgate folds and Bill Roper goes back to Blizzard to work on Diablo 3.
- Real evidence that Diablo 3 is being worked on is revealed through a media leak. Blizzard officially announces the game in November.
- HL2: Episode 3 is delayed until Q1 2009.
- Rage launches in Q4 will little commercial success and critical acclaim forcing Id to go back and make Doom 4.
- Home for the PS3 is surprisingly awesome and increased PS3 sales by 20% 3 months after its release.
- Purebeast finally finds a game that has no perceiveable tearing.
- Activision announces a new Tony Hawk game that is completely differant than it's last due to Skate's success and it still sucks.
- Warhawk continues to get ignored by gamers. Despite it's awesomeness (Yes, I recognize that driving a tank sucks--but you get use to it).
- SuperStar Dust HD 2 is announced and is even more amazing that the original.
