But if they did that then who would buy the next revision. Apple knows the die hards will buy this model then buy again when they do improvements. Look at the iPhone. Everyone knew EDGE sucked, but people lined up all of the country and paid $600 for it. Then when the 3G came out they did the same thing... and some probably did it again with the 3GS.

The typical apple upgrade cycle 🙂

this is so long a boring. give a price so I can say if it'll flop hard or just slightly or say something like Iphone to Verizon next week or in spring.

Seriously are we going to type up term papers and work documents with our thumbs on this thing? What a waste. I'm using my desktop or notebook for any iWork stuff.

It could be cool for keynote stuff. I have a hard time seeing numbers working well. Pages maybe... apparently Steve was typing with two hands on it.

Apple needed to make a need obvious with this device for it to be a success.. however, they have failed thus far. It's an oversized iPhone... Some of the GUI looks great, but it just doesn't differentiate itself enough to make me want one.

Not bad on the pricing but its still using AT&T's crappy network. I wonder how much more these things are going to cripple their network.

IF they sell like hotcakes like the iPhone then AT&T's network might just spontaneously combust
