My ReplayTV cut in just a little bit late for the beginning of the show, I think. I don't think I missed much, but my feed starts with a blurry shot (presumably fading out) of Ryan sitting in Jim's old seat with Pam in the backround. Then it goes into last year's kiss scene...

Can anyone tell me what happened in the scene before they faded to the kiss?

Oh, and if anyone had the ability to quickly mass produce a simple beeping device like the gaydar in the deleted scene and put those things on eBay, they'd be friggin' rich. It appeared to just be a metal detector that was triggered when he hit a belt buckle.

Sadly, I have no such skills. 🙁

actually it could be as easy as a device with two buttons where the user chose which light to lit. "gay" , "straight" hmmmmm.... gonna talk to my bros in taiwan now...

Rashida Jones stared in a show called "Wanted" on TNT last year. It didn't get picked up again so it as only one season.

This show is #@$ hilarious, I still havnt seen the first season, but man.....

They even did a good job of glossing over all the boring emotional stuff with jim/pam and her cancelled wedding.... without completing ignoring it....

my question is, how long does jim stay away ?

That's my question as well... I see him going back to the Scranton office but in a higher position, maybe challenging Michael for his job after the experience he got from his promotion?

EDIT: Actually after I think about it, I don't think Jan would let anyone other than Michael manage that office. He must have been damn good in bed that night for her to let him get away with the crap he does. 🙂
