It's good, but no Marissa just isn't the same.

It's time is up i'd say, which is too bad, since i think it could have lasted so much longer if they hadn't screwed things up...

I love The OC. I'm sad that it's been cancelled but at least it's ending while the season is still good. I'll admit season 3 totally killed the show with Marissa's emoiness but season 4 is as good as season 1. The show basically made Orange County a household name. It put the OC on the map!

RIP The OC.

Oh noes, just when they started to show more of Taylor! I'll miss the show, but after last season, I'm not surprised by the drop in viewers. At least it was a good season ending...hopefully that's all the suspense that we'll get. Although, Ryan's dad is back in the picture...

I agree. Last season sucked so bad. It's unfortunate that Marissa wasn't killed the season prior. I almost didn't watch again this season just because of how awful last season was. Then I saw the first episode of this season and I was hooked all over again.

I'll be sad to see it go. I've seen every episode except one (3 episodes ago, damn DVR didn't record it). I agree that this season is much better than usual. I get a kick out of the writing and direction, and god help me if I ever got my hands on the Taylor chick.....

I watched a few episodes the first season and it was ok but I really hate the whole soap opera feel to it.

The move was hardly unexpected given Fox's decision to order only 16 episodes of the show this season, down from orders of more than 25 shows in its first three years.

So Fox is pulling the plug, why did they have the creator's comments in there making it seem like it was his decision to pull the plug?

Yes you do. As I mentioned before, I saw a few episodes the first season and since then, I have seen only one. I was at my sister's appartment a few weeks ago and saw an episode. The show has gotten very girly since the first season. For those saying this is the best season, I am really worried about their well being as men.
