Likely true. But I am an idiot savant so you would be wise to carefully consider my words.

Got it: nukes = guns so if guns then nukes. I feel less idiotic after learning your lesson.

YES! That is why I, Pipeline the idiot, owns guns. That is what I do with them. It is super fun. I have never killed anyone. I don't bother anybody or hurt anybody. I don't think I should have to choose between giving them up and getting assfucked in prison. You think I should. Careful: you are starting to sound like the idiot.

Now that you mention it, I also have an air rifle. I don't kill people with my air rifle, either. Although I suppose that it could be used for that purpose, I am uninterested in using any of my possessions to do so. It does a fine job at target practice. Just like my rifles do. Thank you for noticing and commenting on the internet about it.

I don't wish to relinquish anything that will never be used to hurt anybody. You shouldn't wish me to either. I don't wish it for you.

In conclusion, please allow me to give you some advice. You are incredibly abrasive and you come across as angry and possibly drunk. Give people the benefit of the doubt. They might disagree with you and it might be for non-idiotic and non-evil reasons.

No, you are an idiot - idiot who cannot even understand the base meaning of what you read.

I never said that nukes are equivalent to guns, I said the argument can be made for either.

I own guns to hunt, they are locked up at all times when I don't use them to hunt or set the scope or when I'm down at the range.

The argument was with target shooting... god damn it, you are not only an idiot, you are a dishonest idiot at that. Target shooting works just as well with air guns which was what the argument was about, YOUR fucking argument you retarded dishonest idiot.

In conclusion, you are a dishonest fucktarded little twirp playing pretend that you have a point but have to divert at every point insted of addressing it because your intelligence barely exceeds that of a banana and you couldn't stay with your OWN fucking argument if your life depended on it.

Now go fuck yourself you worthless piece of utter shit.

So tell me how you can use an air rifle to shoot skeet or trap? You were provided with a list of target sports where air rifles are not used. And yet you insist...

Whats with the insults, profanity and inflammatory tone?

Sure you can. That isn't really the point though, having a shotgun or a bolt action locked in the safe when not used or traveling to and from the place where you'd use it (hunting grounds or target shooting) isn't a problem at all, the problem is that you don't need a licence so jack moronic fucktard who hates his neighbours can go buy a handgun and shoot his neighbours.

When you are a diverting piece of utter shit that cannot face an argument without being a moron diverting and strawmanning I'll consider you a fucking moron, thus far you have done nothing but diverting and strawmanning.

Didn't you get the memo? It's par for the course around here to insult and degrade those with whom you do not agree.:p

its excessive at this point. What...40% of that recent post was profanity, name calling and vulgarities? The first few times, let it slide but now its egregious.

How can you shoot skeet or trap with a pistol, much less an air pistol. That demands a shotgun. Unless someone can show me a air powered shotgun, I might retract my point. Anyway the point is that some target sports are wholly unsuitable for air and need a real firearm.

Anyway, I dont hate my neighbors and havent shot up the block. Your sweepingly broad and generalized arguments are not convincing me that having a gun in hand means I'm going to kill people who dont deserve it. There are millions of law abiding gun owners in this country who are not a problem.

I find it to be good form to remind the old man to take his bloodthinners after such a session... those fits must put preassure on the vascular system like nothing else.

I'm beginning to believe that agent00f is a very close relative of J.Wilkins. They both enjoy demining people they can't converse with. It's easier for them to demean then to reason, sad really.

So you don't think it would be just as easy to kill your neighbor with a shotgun or bolt action rifle as it is with a handgun? Or is it that shotguns and bolt action rifles don't kill people only handguns do? When you get mad you stop making any sense.

11000 innocent victims of gun violence in this country. For comparison in America second hand smoke kills 42000-50000/year depending on the source I use. And no one cares. Figures that those holier than thou Europeans would talk about American guns being a problem while ignoring their much higher smoking rates than the US. Simply put, more innocent people die in Europe from second hand smoke than from guns + second hand smoke combined here. Fucking idiots... how about they get their own house in order before they start bitching about the neighbors?

I assume this would be a standard view of most Europeans towards America.

If you are insulted by this, that's your addiction talking. I think it's funny as hell and on point.

AWESOME! I'm forwarding this to DailyShow.com

Trevor Noah should run with this!

And now, a corollary..

Well as usual you are not telling the truth. The actual number is around 34,000
Gun violence in the United States results in tens of thousands of deaths and injuries annually.[3] In 2013, there were 73,505 nonfatal firearm injuries (23.2 injuries per 100,000 persons),[4][5] and 33,636 deaths due to "injury by firearms" (10.6 deaths per 100,000 persons).[6] These deaths consisted of 11,208 homicides,[7] 21,175 suicides,[6] 505 deaths due to accidental or negligent discharge of a firearm, and 281 deaths due to firearms use with "undetermined intent".[6] The ownership and control of guns are among the most widely debated issues in the country.

Well obviously the people that shot themselves intentionally aren't innocent! But you really should just point out how smoking deaths have literally nothing to do with the NRA so he should make his own thread if he's so concerned about it. You might also point out to him that his attempt at diversion actually is going to make people aware of how the NRA/gun industry has been following the actions of tobacco companies in many ways. But hey, I'm all for us strengthening the ATF, we should be doing more about alcohol, firearms, and tobacco.

Slow, your mention of Second hand smoke ... that is priceless!

Over the last couple decades, there has been a SHITton done to fight second hand smoke!!!!!

No more smoking in bars, restaurants, offices and so many other places.
More and more taxes piled onto tobacco.
Products which are advertised as "less lethal" or "non lethal" alternatives to tobacco are replacing and displacing tons of tobacco products.

If second hand smoke "is ignored", then, maybe we can "ignore" guns the same way?

If we were going to attempt a metaphor, then the laws to prevent "second hand smoke" of "bullets" would essentially pull like 70-80% of the guns from the street. Also, most shooters would have quit shooting completely, or, they would have switched to boxing.
