General desperation for live sportsballing now...and maybe the debut of the Raiders' Las Vegas stadium (not that anyone really cares, I think). ....ridiculous that the Raiders didn't go to LA if the move was truly inevitable. They have a much bigger fan base there than either the Rams or Chargers.
The Davis family is cash-poor, and they couldn't truly afford to build a stadium in L.A. (I suppose they did turn down the tenancy option at SoFi Stadium). So they did the next best thing and took the free money that Nevada doled their way. Much of the $1.9B cost of Allegiant Stadium was financed and the Raiders fronted very little cash.

Oddly enough, a bullet train is being privately built from Victorville to Las Vegas, in the theory that it'll bring Raiders fans (and gamblers) from SoCal to Las Vegas. Doesn't make great sense; let me drive half the way and then get onto a train for the rest LOL.

gives 'em a little time to sober up before getting back in their cars....and maybe less chance that po-po will be tracking drunkies from teh stadium.

.....then again, I'm sure they'll learn to just hang out by that train station, haha.

I found this map funny. Whole midwest will see Chicago vs Atlanta while the St. Louis Area will get LA Rams vs Buffalo. I guess St. Louis folks would rather see their former team?

Mark my words, the Falcons will be 2-14 this season.

That onside kick was tanking at its core. Literally.

It's in the Falcons blood ... just accept it and move on. ;)

Seriously they really have mastered the art of the "choke" lol.

St Louis and Chicago DO NOT get along. Everyone in St Louis would rather watch anything but the Bears.

....I'm more confused about why much of New England is getting Denver v Tampa Bay, haha. Why not the big Dallas v Seattle game?

New England gets Denver v. TB because New England still has a raging boner for Brady.

oh right, fuck. I don't know why I didn't realize that sooner, lol.

but damn--NE does look really good this year. I will say, though, Brady wouldn't have made such a dumb 2 minute drive at the end of that game...and especially at the 3 yard line like that. I like Cam a lot, but he still makes some dumb decisions.

There's no tailgating at the Raiders stadium  , so I guess at the train station is the next best thing. :p

Come on Fins, don't pull an "Atlanta" now. You can complete and win the game.

In the sense that they want him to lose I think.

All that aside Broncos-Bucs should be a decent matchup.
I live in New England (rather unfortunate as a Bills fan) and I can tell you anecdotally that most Pats fans I know still love Brady.

I live in Connecticut myself... while most of the Pats fans I know do like Brady I have not heard one of them say they were now Tampa fans.

Be nice to see somebody other than the Pats win the AFC East and it dang sure isn't gonna be "Gang-Green" lol.... so go Bills!

2 weeks in a row to blow a 20 pt lead. :sleepy::rage:

This particular bunch of guys appear to be cursed or something ... they really have mastered the art of the "choke".

Worst thing for Falcon fans is at times they look like world-beaters.

EDIT: After that come-back I wonder if Nick Foles is now the Chicago starter?

And why not?, 20yrs, 6 rings, not too shabby. That being said, it looks like the Bills will be serious contenders this year, Allen is making good decisions and better throws, right now at 3-0 they are atop the East.
