Well, the true communists of this country do not have to vote for the lesser of evils. They now have their candidate. Kerry is a fraud. I really believe that the majority of the extreme far left does indeed consider democrats and republicans to be of the same evil and will vote for Nader out of principle.
The Nader votes combined with the facts that the economy is recovering from the 911 terrorist attacks, international terrorism is being wiped out, and Iraq is on the road to becoming a democratic society will translate iinto an easy Bush victory this fall.

Yes...I've been thinking the same.

Why else would he throw his hat into the ring knowing he would take some of the votes that would go to the Democratic nominee?

Nader is not a member of the corrupt democraticorporate party.
So stop bringing up the interest of the democraticorrupt party to try in vain to prove that his candidacy is detrimental to the democraticorporte party. Your behaviour is pointless and irrational. Nader owes nothing to the democraticorrupt party. Zilch!
Just dig it! You fools!

:)

I'd like to see the dems counter with a candidate to capture the far right "tinfoil cap" swing vote ;)

this could work if they could get 'god' on the ballot

Ralph Nader is a stunningly arrogant ass. I have to think that after what happened in 2000, precious few liberals will vote for him, knowing that they might spoil any chance for a Kerry victory.

Sorry, I fail to see major differences between the rich aristocrats John Forbes Heinz Kerry and George Halliburton Bush.
I mean from my point of view: gente di poco.

I've got a question. Is Nader actually running to win?

I hear a lot of his supporters arguing whether or not he should run but no one really argues whether or not he would make a good president...

Wow, looks like the left is scrambling on this one...look at the flaming-liberals that this thread trolled up :)

"Oh my god, the sky is falling...what an idiot for wanting to run for President....don't waste your vote...a vote for Nadar is a vote for Bush...let's get back to the status quo and block third-party candidates before they ruin our system of government...apologists, unite!"

hehe:D I was trying not to say anything but since you did...:p

You bring up some good questions. In people's quest for "anyone but Bush" they seem to have abandoned the 3rd party thinking that was quite popular here before. Now I'm sure there are still some real Libertarians and Independents here so this isn't about them all, only the ones who have become "anyone but Bush" :p

I smirk in your general direction.

It's a dilema, for sure, which way to vote. The conservatives are luckier. They have a choice of only a single moron.

Nader does not have the support of the congress of the US to do anything or to make anything out of his interesting comments if he was president. For all the Democrats knkow or do, if Gore was the president he would still be asking the UN for help to oust Saddam. While Saddam kills another 20.000 sheites and kurds with mustard gas and Ricine. Of course these weapons of mass destruction he doesn't have---never did even though scientific tests on the dead confirmed it! He buried these and other things in the Becke Valley in the north section of Iraq because he believes he will be back in power one day----if you think he was cruel then --- he will be unreal!!;)

It doesn't really matter. I mean, not like the Democrats had much of a chance anyway. As sad/bad/fearful as it looks, we're gonna get Dubya for another 4 years.

Well I had a chance to hear Nadir (sic) today. He worries me less, since he seems intent on pissing everyone off. I don't think he will draw nearly as many votes as before.
