The more desperate the conservative propaganda machine gets, the more they lash out.

Ooomph! Another childish taunt. It stings, my son. Oh, it stings.

Most trolls spout unintelligible nonsense. I've never been accused of that.

I will never support Socialism and your responses to valid criticism are comical. Can you grow the f--k up for five minutes?

Or am I going to be treated to more endless rants and illogical B.S. about how Adolf Hitler was executed for his failed coup? He wasn't. And Trump won't be executed either.

Now, I may be wrong, but I don't recall any large scale political movement coming to power in the U.S. in the last 50 years where most of the folks involved employed really goofy insults as their main talking points.

You see, when Black people were trying to win our Civil Rights in the 50's and 60's and add to our support, we didn't call those we hoped would side with us awful names. Even if they did not agree with us. We tried to be patient and explain matters ... while ducking bricks. But ... most know this or should.

Sometimes, people see your suffering and try to alleviate it. Others jump for joy. Which one are you?
If you can't understand simple concepts there is no point engaging with you. You don't know what socialism is. You don't know what a straw man is. You don't know how to engage honestly and actually comprehend what people are saying to you and instead argue with your own twisted versions of what people said, even when they attempt to clarify multiple times.

I literally just did. You even laughed at my post before posting more of it here.

I repeat, RUN your Socialist candidates. I do not try to re-write history to match my politics. But a whole lot of you just tried to do that.

And I never cared for AOC. She is not a Democrat, has a history of attacking elected Black male moderates and has gone after NYC Mayor Eric Adams. Just what part of Unity don't you guys get?

That's right. I get it. Progressives and Socialists hate the Democratic Party. But you're enamored by your media hound AOC. I'm not. Republicans appreciate you for aiding their Cause.
Look man, it's okay that AOC makes your pepper hard, happens to a few other posters on this forum, but y'all don't need to get so angry about it. Should form a group or prayer circle or something...

Just run your candidates. We'll see how many votes you get.

Now, I'm beginning to understand why so many otherwise intelligent Blacks have given up on the Left and opted to support the GOP.

Like AOC does, you guys seem to keenly dislike any Black Democrat who eschews violence. I'm not a bomb thrower. I recall when AOC's Justice Democrats targeted nothing but moderate elected Black Dems in 2016.

We need to add to our ranks. Not push voters away with reckless talk.

But by all means, plan a takeover of "the means of production." I hope to see a news clip.

whens the last time a R potus got the most votes?

Show me the climate bill or major BBB initiatives he's passed. All these deals the old master of the Senate was supposed to cut.

He got the bipartisan bill, driven by the Senate, but his bigger bill has been the football he's let Manchin pull away time over time.

His hat in his sad hands trip to Saudi Arabia to ask for help on oil and gas prices, meanwhile he made big promises to stop fracking on federal land. Embarrassing in era of $5 gas prices that hit everyone's wallet.

He did well on vaccines, but was too slow to undue pandemic restrictions, and those have come due to losing in court. More weakness and slowness.

Here's a promise tracker. Lots "in the works" (ie not dead yet) little in the win column.

You may think he's doing a bang up job, but his terrible polling would put you into a tiny minority.
What would you have him do differently? Be specific, nothing like 'just do it better'.

Accomplishments, not excuses.

Circling back to this, and the turn of events is what I was demanding from the Ds and from Biden.

It looked like it was doomed, but hats off to Machin and Schumer for the rope a dope on the Rs. I wasn't going to accept failure on these.

The Inflation act (lol) and the Chips bills were exactly what I was wanting to see and getting pissed it was fading.

- industrial policy progress, pivot crucial manufacturing back from China
- climate bill, acceleration of EVs
- getting big companies to pay taxes, not dump tax increases on wage earners
- strengthening healthcare

- not porking it up with a bunch of progressive big govt spending programs (eg free college in the status quo system)

The vets bill was good, lots of good stuff in the last two weeks.

Now, get Trump locked up, protect democracy, and it's a great set of accomplishments for any president.

Few other items on my list, but mant of the must dos are done.

I honestly don't know what the gripe is about Biden. He's been fine. He ran as a moderate and he's pretty moderate. Sure I'd like to see him take a wrecking ball to the SCOTUS and play tougher with both parties but at the end of the day he hasn't had any major gaffes other than the afghan pull out which I put more on the military leadership who gave bad information. He's been fine. Sure I'd like to see him be more liberal but he didn't run as a liberal.
Inflation is crazy high here but guess what inflation is similarly high in the UK, Germany, France, japan and pretty much any westernized country right now. Can't blame Biden for that. Not really sure what anyone realistically has to gripe about when you actually think about what a president has in his direct control.
I will say the one thing he could do which he hasn't done is just fully decriminalize marijuana. He basically controls the DEA and could probably do it with a swipe of his pen. Needs to be done.

Adams is kind of a sucky mayor so far.... not sure what NYC was thinking when they elected him. If he gets attacked by anyone it's for his policies.

I overall like AOC because I think she has the guts that are severely lacking in the geriatrics running the Democratic show currently, BUT I have no illusions about her popularity with mainstream voters.

As for her "attacking black male moderates" I would need to know EXACTLY what she was attacking them for.

Say what you want about AOC she is a true believer and seems like a decent person.

We can agree to disagree.

My disenchantment with AOL began when her "Justice Democrats" political action committee targeted moderate Democrats for election defeat because they were not sufficiently as radical as she wanted.

All were elected Black men.

Last time, I looked, we can all have an opinion. I'm a Democrat, but I'm no bomb thrower. My days of marching with Rev. Sharpton are behind me.

I imagine AOC's disenchantment with Eric Adams stems from his defeated of her Progressive pal, Maya Wiley. Adams is a retired NYPD Captain. Wiley is a Defund the Police toady.

I have always maintained that people need police. Just not racist or brutal ones. NYC actually needs more police on the streets.

When Progressive Mayor Lori Lightfoot of Chicago listened to the screams of the Defund the Police crowd and cut the police budget, she was stunned. Because street crime went up, a cop was murdered and she was forced to increase the police budget.

There are bad and brutal cops everywhere. But the average person who lives in a big city needs police.

I welcomed AOC and cheered on her until she thought she should replace the Speaker of the House - just on her say so. She loves PR stunts because she is obsessed with media attention.

We Democrats do not need another showboater. We need to increase our voter turnout. AOC thinks she should be Queen.

Which is why I challenge the folks behind AOC to run her for statewide or national office. Then they will see how disliked by many she really is. But her fans are reluctant to do that because they know she'll get clobbered.
