i dont see the appeal in the wii so i never bothered to pick it up. it gets on my nerves tho when ppl say the wii is for fun over graphics and the ps3/360 is for graphics over fun. like i cant have fun playing warhawk 😕
Precision/control issues aside, there is a certain intangible funness to playing COD3 with a wiimote. Something about waving your hand left and right to spray shots into a room, or having to keep your hand so still to make those long range rifle shots, and squeezing that trigger to pop off shots just feels so, so right. The stupid wrestling minigames I could do without, and the graphics are horrendous, so without quantifying which is "more fun", there are definitely certain "types of fun" that you just can't get on the other systems.
Wow, that actually sounds really fun. I wish they made a light gun accessory, and a shooter style game that supported it on the Wii, that would be awesome.
They're going to release a shell for the wiimote/nunchuck to be used as a gun and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and a couple of other shooters are being released.
Medal of honor heroes 2 will use it quite well. I'm curious as to try it with the analog stick on the back and all, part of me thinks itll be a bit cumbersome, but popping off shots with it either way will be most excellent. That zapper is basically a thompson.
🙂
Now they have to work on the thing actually shooting where you point it.
😛
Its really the long range rifle shots that really sell it. At first I had a lot of trouble with it, shooting at someone
100 years away, while pulling the trigger I'd jerk the controller just enough for a miss. It pissed me off until I realized that was the entire point...thats the hard part about aiming a real gun. You'd never have that problem with a mouse, and dual analogs at least stay in place, but I'll be damned if the Wiimote isnt the most fun to play.
