The previous thread which I made a few months ago PROVES that the US (especially border states) indeed has huge problems with ILLEGALS babies (and the source(s) was not from FoxNews). Again, you were saying something about "mere assertion w/o documentation"? How's that for documentation.

Where did I say anything about having a child born here will automatically make the parents become US citizens/change the immigration status in the other thread...kindly quote it for me, would you? The problem I and millions of other US citizens is the blatant abuse of the US Constitution and the huge cost burden impose upon us.

One more thing, as a LEGAL immigrant myself, I and millions of other LEGAL immigrants have to follow immigration law yet the ILLEGALS expect otherwise? I believe in follow the darn immigration law, how about you? You probably believe in the gold at the end of the rainbow and the unicorn and the perfect world.

Yada, yada, yada... Why, then, do you accept the term "Anchor Babies" if they're not anchors in any sense of the word?

It's intentionally misleading, as is much of the way that the right wing frames issues. And it'll continue to be a nice raving point for a very long time, because the ravers don't have the strength to amend the Constitution to change it, and likely never will.

It's a great distraction from real problems that can actually be solved, which is why the talking heads of the right just love it, and misrepresent it. It's implementation of their own policy that's at the root of our current malaise, something they're desperately trying to obfuscate.

Ok, let try this again, I will go s-l-o-w..... You were being pwned big time and now trying to change the subject.

Let recap:

Spacejamz said this <no where he said anything about "anchor babies":

The sooner states realize how much of drain paying all of the associated costs for schooling, hospital services and jail that illegal aliens are costing border states, the better off they will be.
It is disgusting how much tax payers are footing the bill for this while we get deeper and deeper in the red....

and you replied with:

Mere assertion w/o documentation.

and he replied with documentations/links and then I provide the thread with solid documentations/links/sources which I made a few months ago (you know....the one about Texas taxpapers paying for ILLEGALS having babies..NOT the one about the "anchor babies") to prove that there are plenty of documentations about the cost of ILLEGALS.

But suddenly.. now you all you can say is "but..but.."anchor babies"..blah..blah ..blah" D: Nice straw man right there.

Whatever happens to the "MERE ASSERTION W/O DOCUMENTATION"? Did you lose it? Let us help you find it.......Must.Stop.Laughin.So.Hard. Thanks for the laugh.

You were saying something about "intentionally misleading".........."great distraction about real problems"... after the "w/o documentation"???..LOL....Must.Stop.Now.Not.Polite.Laughing.So.Hard.

Again....show me where in Spacejamz's post and my post in this thread that we said anything about "anchor babies" BEFORE you brough it up? Well, I am waiting. I don't think I will hold my breath..ROTFLMAO.

You're pathetic, snlva. Spacejamz first link to my query used the term "anchor babies", and he even offered derision to my observation that they're merely a convenient construct for ravers. See page 6.

Meanwhile, you attempt to blame the financial crisis on Illegals rather than on the actual perps, Wall St and their enablers in the Bush Admin. The reasons Texas didn't get it as bad as some other parts of the country are the things Righties luvs to rave about- high property taxes, which discourage speculation, and strong consumer protections wrt mortgage terms. They mostly got that right, despite themselves.

A-g-a-i-n!!!!! I will go s-l-o-wwwww on ya. I am getting tired of your little game. Two simple questions.

1. What happens to your statement " Mere assertation w/o documentation"? The dog ate it?

2. Show me where in Spacejamz's first post and my first post (NOT the link, the freaking P--O--S--T) in this thread that we said anything about "anchor babies" BEFORE you brough it up. Point it out!..Quote it..Copy and Paste it...SHOW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! or SHUT THE F$$%# UP!!!

I even help you out.

I am pretty sure I did create a thread about this. Yup, I did. You were saying?

I read all those sentences twice and I did not see any words of "anchor babies". I still have 20/20 vision.

Documentation, biotch.

English, do you speak it?

You = utterly FAIL as a debater, being PWNED!!!

Good god, give it up, dude. You made a flaw statement (Mere assertation w/o documentation). We provided links/sources to back up our statements..i.e. WITH DOCUMENTATIONS as you requested. You could not do anything else but used straw man = You lose. Period.

You were saying something about "pathetic"? :whiste:

Clearly, snlva, Space jamz believes in "anchor Babies", or he wouldn't have posted an inflammatory link using the term, now would he? Particularly when he then basically asserted it again?

Does it cost money to bring new American citizens into the world when their parents are impecunious, legal residents or not? Sure it does. People born in this country are citizens per the Constitution. Heck, Righties generally want to extend those protections to the unborn.

I thought Righties lurvs their Constitution, or is that just the convenient parts? Or is it all just distraction from the utter failure of their governance and ideology in general? From the ongoing class warfare looting of the economy by their idols, the financial elite?

If every illegal up and left Texas tomorrow, the state would still be in shit up to their chins, and their own Rich would figure out a way to take it out on the middle class, because the "conservative" middle class believes in lies. And they're no more conservative than in bible thumping Texas.

Maybe I should not get Spacejamz (rather his posts) involve in this because I am not him, I can not read his mind or speak for him. You have to ask him to be sure what was his motive or what he meant. I can only speak for me, myself, and I.

In the meanwhile, my post (the very first post) in this thread and my consequence posts are still stand and I fully back them up. Unless you can answer my previous still "unanswer" 2 questions, I don't think we have anything further to discuss about.

One more thing, go ahead and find all my posts in P&N, and good luck with finding any of my posts blaming everything exclusively on the left or right.

Anchor baby = you won't get deported. Or so I hear anyway

That's what the ravers want you to believe, but it's apparently not true. Kinda like Iraqi WMD's.

If it were true, those making such claims would be able to provide data, but none has been forthcoming, and I'm sure they've gone wild with Google-fu trying to find it.

The right wing lexicon is filled with such phrases, with attempts to add meaning in the mind of the reader or listener that has no basis in reality.

I didn't see this thread until now...that explains why this guy that always brags how Texas is the only state in GOD'S union that has a GOVERNMENT SURPLUS, has shut down recently.

That was last year. And it was either take the money and pay it back later, or don't take the money but still pay it back later.

The next 2 years budget gap has been closed with brutal cuts to services for the poor.

Sorry, it was posted on Yahoo today so I thought it was relevant. Didn't look at the date.

Also, what is the Pay it back later stuff? Are the states required to pay back the stimulus money? Anyone have a link to that?
