Screen so powerful, it blows through keyboards and cases. Hand not included.

This. Stupid accessory IMO.

Same thought I had. I'm looking for a good case for the Ipad 2 - one that surrounds all the corners without gaps (many seem to do this), but I can flip open like a book.

Seems to me the corner of the Ipad is the most likely location the Ipad will land on if I drop it, I don't get why they leave that portion open??

You should look at the official Apple case – does everything you want. It's pricey, but I'm sure you could find a knockoff that would be almost as good.

Have a link to it? All I can find on their website is the stupid "Smart Cover", which doesn't look like it protects it during a fall.

My impresson of the Smart Cover is that it mainly protects scratches. I'd expect the worse if I dropped any of these smartphones or tablets.

Your best bet may be the Otterbox:

I've heard good things about it. Expensive, but it's an entire box around it.

I've looked at those before, it just looks like it does so much I don't need. Maybe if it was half the price.

I'm still interested in what the "official" case is - I think I remember seeing it for the Ipad 1 - it had a white apple logo in the middle and it was all black. I don't think that would fit the 2nd one though.

Here is a link to the original case I was talking about.

I would highly suggest taking a look at the Speck FitFolio. Same general idea as the original case but it looks a little more well-made and protective.

That FitFolio looks really nice, and the Apple case you linked doesn't look like it will work for Ipad 2. I'll look into the FitFolio, thanks.

I don't get it it. What am I not seeing in that pic?

It also pierces the eyes, causing confusion!

Seriously though, the reflection on the glass table isn't possible due to the keyboard & bottom of the case being in the way.

EDIT:

Its POSSIBLE, but the angle they take the picture and the overall finish, it just looks like it doesn't go, based on the hand looking like an exact mirror, yet the angle to the Ipad somehow gives a different view.

Got a great tip for you. Did this on my ipad2 and it works like a charm : Go to Amazon and find this back http://www.amazon.com/splash-VAPOR-S...ef=pd_sxp_f_pt follow the first reviewers mod instructions and get a smart cover to go with it. This is probably the easiest solution to keep iPad fom getting damaged.

Edit: If you look at the thumbs under the main pic,you can see his mods. It really is easy.

Peace

Thanks for the tip. Looks like they are out of stock, though.

Also oddly enough I looked at Target's site (a few people mentioned they got the FitFolio there), and the black and creme Ipad 2 covers are $69.99 while all the other colors are $39.99. Is Target colorist??
