Good riddance to bad crap.
Ugly, horribly built, bad safety rating, a death trap, and disgusitng colors. Not to mention too many cheapskates buy them and put fart cans on them to make it seem like they bought a real car. News flash. It's over. In about 2-5 more years, I doubt I'll see another on the road as they will all have finally be beyond repair in terms of maintance costs, or will turn in death traps for their owners. Yay!

I have one and I can tell you that it has been overall a trouble free car.
Head gasket @ 72K that Dealer replaced for $200.'

That's alone is enought to call it unreliable. My corolla has 120k with only struts and engine mount replacement and my integra has 165k with no problem also. Nowadays any engine or transmission related problem under 120k is considered unacceptable.
On the contrary! The new line is total badassness.Originally posted by: zoiks
I wish those civics would somehow disappear as well.

I've had two and both were good cars. Both are still driving on the road, and one of them is 10 years old.

Yep. everyone hates the affordable reliable car for some reason. I'll never understand it.
I am loving my car at almost 5 years old. completely problem free.

Everyone probably hates them since they're faster and handle better than civics/corollas...

For the 2000 model year it went through a redesign. It used the same engine, but a new chassis, suspension components (Same geometry though). New interior...
