I managed to pick it up tonight used from GameStop. I used my buy 2 get 1 free used coupon to get a ps4 and xbone controller with this game for $100. I beat it 3 times on ps3 I'm looking forward to playing it on ps4

This worked for me to recover my preorder and listing the setting under options>game:

http://community.us.playstation.com...k-add-ons/m-p/44198278/highlight/false#M74035

Recover licenses and activate as primary under setting>PSN on the dashboard. My ps4 was already set as primary, but it doesn't matter.

On the plus side, I did not have to start a new game. The supplement upgrades were added to current game. Will know the gun once I get to a next upgrade table.

EDIT The 9mm upgrade wasn't added since I already had it. Oh well...

Finished the game... That ending... 😱 😵 :'( :| I teared up a bit... Damn, I didn't want this game to end. Especially during the last 2-3 chapters...

Now you also have left behind to to play. I forgot what new game plus is.

Honestly, I don't really feel like playing "Left behind". I know what will happen (Ellie pretty much told it already). I kinda hate prequels... I also don't feel like playing the main game again either, since there will be absolutely no variation in the game's story, at most a higher difficulty. I'll probably wait some time before starting it again and will try to finish on highest difficulty and find all the collectibles at the same time - for the trophies.

I feel like playing it for the first time since the ps3 for some reason. I really like the new environment textures too. I do understand what you mean by the film and comic book look now. When outside, sometimes it appears the colors seem a bit faded like when it's dark out or its raining but then they go back to normal in certain areas.

I also tried the 30FPS lock... for 2 seconds... my eyes bled for an hour 😛 Was probably because I was playing it unlocked until that "experiment", but good grief... it was absolutely terrible. Try it for yourself... 😛

Left behind answers a few questions...probably worth at least playing through once

I am playing very slowly. I actually found a few loot spots I know that I missed when I played it before. Taking the time to look in every room and observe everything is paying off. I am enjoying the environment a lot more now because of it.

I just got to winter, not looking forward to fighting in a blizzard.

Yea I'm very early in the game still. In the subway still, I reloaded my scenario since I wanted to find the combination to that safe. Sneaking past all those clickers can be pretty tough. One sound and they all swarm you. What I don't like is when ellie and tess follow you and they still circumvent around your location it feels like they can give away your location.

Any friendly NPC is invisible to the enemies until you are discovered. You'll be seeing funny situations where some of them cover in plain sight and the enemies can't see them anyway even though they're passing by.

The good thing about clickers is you can actually run from them and hide - they can only "see" you for a short distance and they are slower than you. There's not always space to run, but when there is, give it a shot 🙂 Just run and hide behind some cover.

My only annoyance with this game is how sometimes you go to checkout a hallway or a room and the NPCs follow you. Then you finish there or realize it was a dead end and you turn around, the npcs (Ellie for example) will stand there in the way, blocking your path. I curse at them every time.

Yea haha or when you try to hide somewhere and they follow you and basically shove you out of your spot. Then you get up to go and you can't move because they are in your way.

Ok. First impressions. And some people might not like this, but... It doesn't look next gen.

The texture quality ain't that great. I'm guessing the improvements were isolated to resolution and frame rate. On last gen, it would have been a good looking game.

Sooooo, close to the end.

Man, that one scene with the giraffe(s), best graphics on a console, EVER!

change of heart i see? 😀

and you aren't quite as close to the end as you think.

Yeah, that annoys me a lot too.
