She told her mother of the assault, a friend and her brother at the time it happened, all have corroborated her story, even her late mother through call. I edited before you posted to add that you need to read her Articles and not the synopsis. The synopsis leaves out an important next sentence that makes that edit not controversial. I suspect it was left out on purpose, if not, it was a major flaw in the synopsis.

That changes the scope of her edit significantly.

Always pick the low hanging fruit. Corruption is often convoluted and requires references to laws and court rulings. Sexual misconduct is straight forward and emotional. It's a no brainer.

I always thought that the idea that an ethics office would turn over the only records of an ethical compliant to the person it was filed against sounded incredibly wrong, the only thing that made me wonder was that it’s congress and I can totally see congress doing some dumb shit like that.

I will be interested to see if the national archives has anything. The idea that someone told her that Biden has the relevant records seems more and more likely that she just made it up.

Her Edit does not Materially change her original statement. She even alludes to that there was more than just the things she states outright. Victims of Assault do not often just state all details, they usually trickle out the details over time.
