How is that clever?
A group of kids actually used heavy gauge fishing line to do this in my area a few year ago and decapitated a motorcyle rider.
I call Shenanigans on you sir.
Sounds like an urban myth to me. Have a news article to prove it? Or did you hear it from a friend who's neighbor had a cousin that was there when it happened?
Where is my cookie pnad?

Salient quote:
Santa Clara County sheriff's deputies say that Barnes, 46, could have been decapitated May 6 while riding his motorcycle along Loma Chiquita Road in unincorporated Santa Clara County when he rode into a rope or some other object that had been tightly stretched across the road.
I was wrong, it wasn't kids and the guy wasn't killed/decapitated but yes it did happen. He was seriously injured, spent 5 days in a coma, required more than 500 stitches and now has a titanium plate in his head. Oh and he was wearing a helmet and was only going 25 mph which is probably why he wasn't decapitated.
I understand the joke, prop humor... I get it. My point is that messing with traffic or moving cars in general is dangerous and not funny.
Now, had they done it on a running trail with some runners now *that* would have been funny.
