Yep, it's back to that old "tolerance" thing, where they are tolerant as long as you agree with their viewpoint. Otherwise, not so much. I personally find it disgusting, but to each his own. Since it's disgusting to me, I just won't watch any channel that shows something I find disgusting, so I vote with my wallet (in this case, my remote).

I never understand why this is so hard to understand. Liberals promote tolerance of who you ARE, not of your actions.

Tolerate my intolerance, otherwise, that makes you intolerant.

"I Know You Are, But What Am I?" has evolved quite well it seems...

There is no right or wrong, but I have my preferences.

I prefer to NOT see two men kiss
I prefer to NOT see a man and woman kiss
I prefer to NOT see two women kiss
I DO PREFER to see two sexy women kiss and laws should be passed to force this in public.

If I find something disgusting, that is because of who I AM, not my actions. Actual tolerance would be acceptance of those who might feel differently than you about something. Few libs know actual tolerance.

Last time I checked many football players had kissed their wives or girlfriends without complaint.

And what is your point?

What if he and his gf was a furry. You don't think that would also lead to "interesting" comments on twitter if a football player kissed his gf wearing a furry costume?

So? I don't find that revolting. I'm not advocating some law against Sam and his bf kissing, or against a channel showing it, but I prefer not to have to be exposed to something I find disgusting, so I will watch another channel, and I'll be sure to let espn know about that preference.

Nowadays someone's taste and preferences have to be politically correct apparently.

Maybe you misunderstand. When I say what you ARE I mean immutable characteristics that you are born with, not thoughts or opinions you developed along the way.

It is clear how few conservatives know actual tolerance when they continually try to argue that tolerance requires acceptance of their bigotry.

I like how when you say something stupid and people respond to you, you ask them what their point is.

Sometimes I feel the same way, buddy. I don't really know what the point is in responding to you.

Nobody is trying to make you watch anything you don't want to. If you choose not to watch a TV channel because two gay men kissed on it we might laugh at you and tell you that you're a bad person, but it's your choice to be a bad person.

Saying that 2 guys kissing is gross isn't bigotry.

I said it because you didn't have a point. You seem to be implying that no one could possibly see a difference between 2 guys kissing and a guy kissing a girl...

Of course that is such a stupid idea I don't know why you would suggest it.

Nobody is trying to make you watch anything you don't want to. If you choose not to watch a TV channel because two gay men kissed on it we might laugh at you and tell you that you're a bad person, but it's your choice to be a bad person.

Nobody is forcing you to kiss your bf in public. Doesn't mean it should be illegal. But I reserve the right to say its gross.

If you actually find two men kissing, especially a mild kiss that was seen during the draft, you're a moron. This isn't A Clockwork Orange. You didn't get some hypnotherapy giving you some aversion to homosexual embraces. Grow the fuck up already, your retard is showing.

Do I think PDAs of homosexual should be shown during the draft (or anywhere other than fictional works)? No. But, I have the same opinion of PDAs for heterosexual couples as well.

I also condemn the morons using the exact same garbage, hate filled actions they are fighting to protect gays from against those who voice their opinions against silly things like kissing on TV. You hope his children are killed because he doesn't find a man kissing another man appropriate to show on television AND you call yourself an advocate for gays?

LOL, so people are "bad" for exercising their freedom to NOT watch certain programming?

Really?

Remember, Christianity used to believe being gay was "bad". You libs are just steps away from killing us.

Interesting. Having a different taste or preference is now "bigotry". How tolerant of you ()🙂 Another shining example of tolerance.

Perhaps a dictionary would help:

a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward opinions and practices that differ from one's own.

Being tolerant requires acceptance of others' different opinions and views, even if you disagree with them. That is true tolerance. Your version of tolerance is "everyone who has a different opinion that mine is a hateful bigot!".

No, holding bigoted attitudes towards others based on their sexual orientation makes someone a bad person in that regard. Pretty simple.

Spare the insane hyperbole that condemning bigotry somehow translates to murdering Christians.

It sure isn't.

That doesn't change the simple reality that saying two guys kissing is gross is bigotry.

That is not bigotry. Thinking it is gross is childish and stupid, but not bigotry. Thinking they should be forced to not do it, however, if bigotry.

Also, Retro Rob, nobody is feeding Christians to the lions. Get over it.

Wonderful, more "tolerance" on display. If someone has a preference to not see something (that you happen to agree with), they are "a bad person". Thanks for this wonderful insight. Once again showing how those who claim to be "tolerant" are often the most narrow minded intolerant people around.

Spare me the paradox of tolerance. I have no interest in the argument that in order to be a tolerant individual I must be tolerant of others' intolerance.

So, what if I don't watch hetero-kissing and just take that a step further with gay kissing?

Does that make me bad?

Believe it or not, a guy was threatened with death (assuming he's not lying) in the link I posted.

Threats, unchecked, always escalate to violence. History is simply repeating itself.
