Great... I'm not going to put it in front of the Shrek series but I'd say it was as good as Finding Nemo. The animation was amazing but I still like the characters in Shrek better.

I don't know... The Shrek movies are definitely the funniest of the bunch, but The Incredibles has a great story, superb animation, and a solid amount of humor. It's pretty rare for a movie to have all of that, but somehow Pixar manages to do it with every movie.

Pixar doesn't write the movies.

I thought it was pretty good but slow for the first half.

So? Doesn't change the fact that they're the company using solid storylines instead of some weak POS story with a million pop-culture references and fart jokes thrown in.

Here is my quote from another Incredibles thread:

maybe it's just me, but the last two animated flick we have seen (Incredibles and Shark Tale) were nowhere near as funny as Monsters Inc, Nemo, Toy Story, Shrek, Ice Age etc...

can't really describe what I mean, but has to do the with underlying humor I guess...any one else relate to this???

Incredibles and Shark Tale were okay, but the 'oldies' were better IMO...

oh well, enough rambling for now...

The CGI was very crisp and looked good with the progressive scan dvd on the 57" Toshiba, but the humor aspect of it was lacking...

her acthent is the only thing that bugged me in the movie.

Huh? I have no idea WTF you're talking about... Incredibles was written and directed by Brad Bird, who now works for Pixar. I thought Incredibles was awesome, way better than the Shrek movies. The animation was superb, the story was good, and the overall style was very cool. I love how it was obviously heavily influenced by the early Bond films, IMO that really made the soundtrack and set designs work very well.

Shark Tale? Please. That pile of crap doesn't belong in the same class as Pixar.
