Edifier MR5 near field desktop speakers. These little things are rowdy, sound excellent, and are on sale at Amazon this weekend. They will crank louder and cleaner than you will want if you are sitting equidistant in front of them. I sit about 3-4 feet from them.

The Dell laptop the company sent me to replaced the old Lenovo has no LAN port, only uses wifi. :expressionless:

Local BestBuy, Walmart and Target all were out of USB to LAN adapter! Had to order one from Amazon.

Bought 2 bags of coffee. Ran out yesterday, that was a bad situation. Should be good for a while now.

As a side note it's like $10 cheaper on their site than at grocery store... think I'm going to start buying it off their site now. I just searched it for the picture but usually buy it locally.

A soft bucket, plastic welding kit, and some goatskin gloves. Exciting stuff.

1000060633.jpg

The bucket is for hauling cabling supplies up a tree. We used a plastic bucket last time, and it kinda sucks. The plastic welding set is to attempt a repair on a gas can. If it doesn't work, I'll find other uses for it. Finally, the gloves are to see if paying more at harborfreight gets you more. Of course it does, but they'll have to be ~3x better than the multipack of cheapie gauntlet style gloves. Those are frustrating. The best examples are a good value, but some have had the hide split so thin, they won't even last a day. You can't tell which is which in the sealed bag. Goatskin is the best non exotic hide for work gloves, so we'll see...

I am horrendous at plastic welding
I've never done it before. This'll be an experiment all around. I found a gas can, but it has a minor crack in the bottom that doesn't appear to go all the way through. I'm gonna try to rescue it cause I love NO-SPILL gas cans. It isn't a size I exactly need, but if I can do a good repair, I can find a use for it. One less piece of plastic junk for the trash, at least temporarily.
