Does it work well? I usually eat apples in the expected way, but sometimes neat slices would be nice if the cutter isn't a pita to use.

Generally it works pretty well. It slices the apples, but unless the apple is perfectly shaped (which is never) you're still going to have to mess with the seeds and the core a bit. But it's easier to have the slices to dip in the pb!

I don't eat Apples anymore. That old adage of an Apple keeping the doctor away is crap, at least in my experience. Didn't save me from Type 2 Diabetes and the ensuing struggle to be rid of it. I'm not that great a fan of mangos either though I will drink mango juice or mango milkshake once in a while. I usually much rather prefer grapefruit, orange, lime or pineapple juice. And if I do feel like eating a mango, I will eat it with its skin as it has benefits.

I feel like a diabetes thread would be great. Something where everyone shares their meals and recipes, progress etc. I know there's forums out there for that stuff, but I don't really want to join another forum. I'm diabetic and have a hard time with breakfast meals. I can go carb-less for lunch and dinner, but breakfast is tough.

Not sure what you like, but my menu A breakfast is two mystery meat extruded sausage links, and one or two vegetarian sausage patties. I nuke them for 3 minutes while I do other stuff to get ready for work. I'm not diabetic, but that's diabetic friendly.

A new to me air purifier (a manufacturer-direct refurbished Winix D360); half the price of a new unit. Opened it yesterday and it looks brand new. Also extremely quiet, even with the fan on high. Big bonus: this unit doesn't have the ionizer, so I don't have to worry about it making sticky dust. It'll make a nice replacement for the mediocre Insignia unit I had (but they don't really make filters for any more).

we considered recliners but twins that break things are in the house and the fact that you need to leave room behind made it not viable.

This loveseat was part of the "Small Space Collection" at Bob's furniture, only needing 5" of wall clearance. I had the white glove delivery guys place it out a bit further simply to allow the rear surrounds to be rear. I didn't want them straight out to the side of me.

This is the 43" Hisense QD6 that was included free when I bought the 100". I planned on using the 55" Samsung on my desk, but it was a bit too much. Even with such a large display and increased scaling/fonts, I still have to lean in close to the screen to see text clearly. The 55" was so high, I was having to stand up to see the top of the screen, lol. This 43 is working much better.

Over the last three days we have been in Atlanta on business at the mart and needed a break. If you have ever been to AmericasMart then you know why just three days can stress you out.

Anyway, we visited the Georgia Aquarium today and stopped by the Coca-Cola gift shop. We purchased some souvenirs from both places.

The Georgia Aquarium was incredible!
