A bottle of windshield washer fluid and Invisible Glass.
Yours is the second post mentioning this. I really need to see if I can get some windshield washer fluid. My last oil change was with Jiffy lube. Yes they filled my fluid, but I know it's the cheap stuff.

Pre-ordered a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, 512GB, Graphite (Wi-Fi) - Traded in a Note 8 for $350. Free keyboard with backlight. Expected delivery April 28, 2022. :grimacing:
This would complement my Note 20 Ultra 5G (Mystic Bronze) , Watch 4 Classic 46mm (Stainless steel), and Buds Live (Mystic Bronze).
Nice upgrade for my 10.5" Tab S I got early 2015.

Last update was to Android 6.01, slight hard to see burn-in with a white screen.

I jumped on this when I saw what they gave you for your Note 8. I couldn't give mine away, so I love this. Thanks for posting!

This arrived today. It is as solidly built as the reviews say. The cooking area is 24'x24' which is a good size. When it's just the two of us will give me area to move the nice steaks to if there are flare ups and be able to regulate heat in general when cooking all sorts of things from asparagus to chicken thighs. If I go with more people, will just have more cooking area. Also hot dogs can't roll off as there is a raised ridge around the entire thing. Pretty cool, just need some sort of cover for the grill section, will probably just get a tarp and some bungee cord.

I almost never take photos and videos are just, unnatural. I'm not saying they're a tool of the devil. I'm just not completely convinced otherwise.

So, when I found out about these instax cameras (pretty much solely made by Fujifilm - unless you've got some gold proof eagles burning a hole in your deep, mink lined pockets and want one of the Leica versions), I was like, 'oh, how darling.'

There's no real "top of the line" in this product line but I did find pretty much the best that I could hope for a couple days ago. I think the butcher's bill was around 2 benjamins. But for a cheap camera, it's pretty nice. Lots of bells and whistles that are completely irrelevant except on those occasions when I stumble into them and and have to do a reset. See link

last thing i bought was some boxers for women to try them out. 2 pair each from 2 different places.
i really hate buying clothes. and these were kinda pricey. but i am hoping that assuming i like them, they will last a while.
otherwise, i guess they will be good for pyjamas?

It was overcast today so we checked out the cemetery and found the grave of the original quarry operator, guessing that his headstone would be from our quarry and it is. My estimate is that one in ten headstones in the cemetery from that era came from our quarry. The granite supports much more detailed carving than I had thought.

Edit: I blanked out the first names and dates. The folks have been dead for seventy+ years but you never know how relatives might react to finding stuff about there ancestors online. The stone has a tan cast from decades of exhaust from the nearby streets and railroad. The split rock at the quarry is a lighter and more even grey. The design is very thirties art deco.

Detail from another headstone made from our granite.

Based on historical research on the quarry operators, today we checked out the cemeteries in Tombstone and Bisbee. Our granite is found in both. Tombstone has a lot less air pollution than Tucson so the granite headstones look much closer to the color found in the raw quarry rock. Bisbee had a copper smelter so the headstones there suffered from heavy pollution. There are a few other cemeteries in southern Arizona to check out.

Just bought 20oz of silver maple leaf coins.

Kinda an impulse purchase. Been meaning to start investing into more physical investment assets so figured why not start now.

Probably want to invest in a good safe too but for now I'm just going to hide it in a non obvious spot.

I'm not sure silver is the best call but I don't really follow markets any more. I would keep in mind though that we used to have a major industry based on silver - photography. Now we don't.

Also, I didn't look at relative prices, but if you're paying "significantly" more than spot - as appropriately assessed in this context - mass marketed bullion might not be your best bet.

One last thing. The best safe you can have is one you don't have access to - if home invasion, burglary, etc. is your primary concern. If YOU can get in, THEY can get in.

144 tons of structural fill to be delivered on wed. by an army of tandem trucks, because somehow that turns out cheaper than having several 18 wheelers.... whatever!

Just because the item discussed here is intended to be worn by "women" does not guarantee in any way that only a woman can wear them. (especially applicable around here!)

Not to imply there's anything wrong with that! ;)
