I once drank an entire 52oz just of Fairlife chocolate milk in one shot. No regrets. 90g of protein woot woot!

Seriously though, I think their chocolate milk is the best chocolate milk available right now. Smooth, creamy, delicious! They also make pretty good protein drinks. I get their 26g Core Power & 42g Elite drinks on a regular basis (usually get Premier Protein due to cost & flavor variety tho).

Parts to upgrade a 8 year old Asus X79 Sabertooth, i7 3930K, 32GB DDR3 system which I'll still be using.

Intel i9-10850K from Micro Center - $495, 64GB (2x32) DDR4, Samsing 500GB 970EVO and Gigabyte Z490 Vision D from Amazon - $674.65.
I'll be reusing a Cooler Master HAF 312 case and MasterLiquid ML120R RGB, eVGA 1000W PSU, eVGA 1080Ti FTW3 ($200 - Aug.2019 Flea Market) from another late 2015 spare build.

I did just that last week (or almost)! I am currently using the 2408WFP and purchased the S2721DGF for 495 CAD + tax during a sale.

I just spent £83.71on a bread knife.
Which although I know will last forever and that I wouldn't think twice about spending that amount on a techy gadget or some nice alcohol it seems like a lot for a bread knife!

$30, slightly offset, and just awesome! I have a more expensive one that I never use anymore because of this.

I have an odd mix of feelings about investing in necessities. Like, I'd much rather blow my mad money on stupid stuff that is fun, but as I've gotten older, investing in better tools that I use all the time (recently got a stupid expensive desk chair, which is saving my back lol) has become more attractive as it enhances my daily living experience. With the knife story, for example, I grew up with butter knives, some super-cheapo flimsy steak knives, and a couple crappy kitchen knives. I now have a select few knives that I use on a regular basis, which are amazing, such as one similar to this 9.5" Dalstrong Chef's knife, which is my go-to for pretty much everything:


Plus a few spreader knives, which are magical: (butter, mayo, etc.)

Bendy knife for boning: (works amazing for trimming cartilage off chicken)


Plus a paring knife. I think that's pretty much all of the ones I use on a regular basis. None of them match, but all of them are selected for high functionality & the whole set really works great for me!
