This is a stock pic, and I think it's a newer iteration, but the one I got from the consignment shop appears functionally equal, and perhaps even better due to more metal. These are great pumps. I use one for my line launcher, and I wanted one to keep in the truck for flats. To say I've had bad luck with electric vehicle pumps would be an understatement. They've all been absolute junk. Hand pumping sucks, but it works. The one I got is in new condition, and was only $10. It's worth about $70.sport_joe_blow.jpeg
 
I need a new shop vac and wanted to get a cordless one. Started to look around and was working on cleaning up the birdseed under the bird feeder.

Saw this at Home Depot and thought it would be perfect for cleaning up the bird seed, and should do well as a portable shop vac.

I got a homedepot branded thing similar to that from the consignment shop. I haven't used it a lot, but it's perfect for my purposes. Small, and relatively portable. Mine has a cord, but I don't think I need to take it far from an outlet.
 
I am lazy so I am trying to get away from using corded tools if possible.

Plus I have a large yard and it would take many extension cords to reach parts of my yard.

The biggest differentiation between the WW PRO and other pellet grill is the smoke box. There's a box in the middle, just above the fire, that can be filled with wood chunks/chips to add more smoke flavor. Based on what I've seen, this DRASTICALLY diminishes that gap between the kind of BBQ you can get out of an offset vs a pellet smoker. This thing fucks. Photos attached.

My first cookie was a 7lb pork butt - seasoned with salt and pepper, cooked at 275F with oak pellets and apple chunks. Spritzed with apple cider vinegar after 5hrs then wrapped in foil. Cook for another 2-3 hours until and internal temp of 205F. Rested it for an hour and the bone just slid right out. I'm extremely impressed with the bark development I got off this thing - that's generally a shortcoming with pellet smokers. Keeping the smokebox fed with chunks of wood is a massive difference maker with this unit.

The only thing I'd change is keeping closer tabs on the smokebox/keeping it fed and making my black pepper a touch finer.

Served it with homemade slaw, pickles, potato rolls, and a vinegar-based bbq sauce. We have a metric shit-ton of leftovers.

I bought this one many years back. Still works like a charm.

I hate the BS peak horse power ratings they use these days. You might get that 6.5 HP for half a second, but there is no way to get anywhere close to that on 120v residential wiring.

LoL my 3/4 HP pool pump is on 220VAC. It can run on 110 with a jumper change but more efficient in 220 mode.

Not to mention the motor is way bigger than the shop vac one.

My dust collector is the same setup 120/240. I run it on 240 because it's literally 24" from the sub panel and it was easy to run a circuit with 12/3 wire.
 
The Expanse complete series on Blu Ray. My GF and I are watching it and I know the sound quality on streaming blows. I also can't get 5.1.

Also, 4kg of PLA filament for my 3d printer
 
Almost nine hundreds bucks of something something, which the kid needs for his dorm.

Since he will be in a share housing type of dorm, he needed to get new bedding and furniture. He better keep them in good shape cause I ain't buying again next year!
 
Kind of a "I just bought" because we apparently had to, but my daughter's been taking college classes, where she was able to access the textbooks electronically through something called Canva (provided by the JUCO). Unbeknownst to us, apparently we still had to buy the textbooks, so we had to drop $400+ in order for her to register for her next class. I have to ask her how we're able to access those text books since we should own them now, but does anyone know if you can sell electronic books back to the store or something?

No idea, but maybe going forward, look for alternate sources of books. Fuck 'em.
