Project Farm did a review of jack stands on YouTube. If you're unfamiliar with the channel, you're living life the wrong way.

I did watch that and bought the Daytona 6T ones.

I always leave 2 wheels touching the ground and put cinder blocks so they don't move. Then I jack up the other side and put 2 jack stands but only lower the jack enough so the weight is mostly resting on the jackstand.. but I leave the jack as a redundancy.

Maybe I'm not a pro auto worker but I feel safer this way.

That said I do think the thickness of the 6T jackstands make me feel much safer than the 3T ones.

Our new patio furniture and outdoor rug was delivered yesterday and since I have a rare Sunday off in April I spent the morning unpacking it and setting it up. We went with the SunVilla Vineyard 6-piece set from Costco. It's a nice set but I'm not sure about the darker color. IME darker colors show dirt better......I really like the way the color of the rug accents the furniture......anyway.

I know the end tables don't match....they were from the last set but we are going to reuse them.

I've been looking for something like this - is it more of a gray or brown? Hard to tell in the photos and on Costco.

30 cans of snus came today. They're already bagged, and in the fridge awaiting freezer space to open up. I do believe my strategic reserves are all in place, and there's nothing left to buy. Just regular grocery shopping, and picking up extra interesting food when it presents itself.

@JM Aggie08 it is more of a two tone wicker with both colors mixing together. Here is a close up pic I took in direct sunlight so you can see what I mean. As you can see there is both gray and brown colors in the wicker. If I had to pick one I would say it is slightly more gray than brown but honestly it really depends on the way the light hits it.

My parents have a set with that style of wicker, I think it's more like a plastic but it's fairly durable. Those sets are not cheap. 😱 One thing that's an annoyance with furniture that has cushions is you're constantly having to bring the cushions in and out of the house all the time so they don't get wet. I guess having some sort of waterproof bin on the deck that you can put them in would save lot of trouble.

I ended up buying a used set off FB marketplace a while back, table and chairs, just the really basic solid ones. No cushions to worry about. The set is cheap enough that if it gets stolen it's not a huge deal as well.

I hardly ever sit out at my deck since I don't get good privacy, need to finish building it this summer, just need to do the railing, which is going to be more like a fence. Will probably do built in planters or something, just to add more rigidity to the posts.
