That's why the original TV show was so great is it was a real guy.

Even Lou Ferrigno would have a bit stressed to be able to tear the Wolverine in half.

The 'real' comic book hulk would have to be CGI.

Expect to see a Thor, Antman, 2nd Iron man, and capt america too. I think there will be a different version of hulk even...

The real 'hulk' wasn't a dumb lumbering idiot like the movies. Much like how the botched the real 'Conan'.

Hulk went through 3 iterations (well, now I hear there were more...Red Hulk? wtf...). The original Hulk WAS a dumb, lumbering idiot. Then he became Grey Hulk--not as strong, but smart and aware. Then those two entities combined to form the new Green Hulk, with the strength of original Hulk and brains of Grey Hulk.

He also was Hulk permanently. No more Bruce Banner.

I can't stand Marvel movies.

Go check out Iron Man. Best movie of the summer so far.

Thats the exception. I won't lie some of the movies are enjoyable to watch (X-Men comes to mind) but I can't stand how much they usually stray from the true stories.

Movie /= Comic Book.

different plot time, character development, "allowable" characters. Every comic book story would suck balls if it they attempted to stay 100% true to the story in a movie format.

Spiderman 3 sucked primarily b/c it was the one closest to the comic book Spiderman stories. Several villains at once, several Spiderman stories that took DECADES to develop in the comic book, even more characters not related to spiderman introduced.....it was a big, stinking pile of shit.

saw the movie monday night...the action sequences were pretty good, but the whole movie is pretty much based on the CGI fight scenes which is what a movie like this should be...

you will have the 'elitest' types here clamoring for deep plots, character developement, dialogue, etc, but this is just a simple movie that can you watch without having to think about it...these people can go back to watching the Great Gatsby or Casbalanca...

The comics put the 70s TV hulk to shame.... if they want to reflect the original comic hulk, they'd better stick with the CG.

True. I wasn't sure if this version of hulk is the canonical Marvel one though.

Anyone know?
