Why are there 2? Different studios?

The first one was so bad, I bet they couldn't sell the merchandise.
The second one must have been made to get rid of it all.

Is the second one a better attempt?
It has Ed Norton, so I am guessing it is higher quality.

Haven't seen the incredible hulk yet. The first one was a disaster...

Reviews for the second seem better...

Marvel bought some of their properties back. It's more reboot than sequel but it still recognizes the first movie somewhat.

And yes, all reviews and indications so far are that it is much better.

I have read that they are calling it a requel, not a sequel. It looks great. The fighting seen with the two "hulks" looks incredible!!!

I believe spider man is going through a rebirth due to the avengers project.

Expect to see a Thor, Antman, 2nd Iron man, and capt america too. I think there will be a different version of hulk even...

The real 'hulk' wasn't a dumb lumbering idiot like the movies. Much like how the botched the real 'Conan'.

Norton was really pushing to play Bruce Banner and the studios wanted to make a couple intro movies and then make a big "Avengers" movie with all the stars. They got high quality actors and made them sign deals guaranteeing that they'd come back to make sequels and cameos.

Unfortunately, it is sounding like Marvel is trying to screw the pooch again which would result in Favreau not coming back to direct Iron Man 2.

Because Marvel hated the first and now that they have the rights to it, they are making their own version.

Would be better if the main character wasn't a dumb looking, CGI character.

That's why the original TV show was so great is it was a real guy.

It's not really a sequel, it's more a do-over.

I saw the first one and i thought it was pretty boring, though I enjoyed staring at Jennifer Connelly for a couple of hours. I will definitely see this one since it has Ed Norton, Tim Roth, and William Hurt, plus Liv Tyler for hotness. Sounds like a winning combination to me.

I still kind of find it odd that they redid a Hulk movie so close to the last one.

Personally I think they should've waited a few more years, but whatever. At least it looks halfway decent.

Yeah, but that old 70s show with Lou Ferigno really didnt push what the Hulk was capable of doing. While I liked the show I always read the comic and in the comic the hulk claps his hands and level buildings, they never did that on the show. I am looking forward to this Hulk as the Ang Lee movie sucked balls. Just because you have one huge hit movie (Crouching tiger) doesnt mean you are a cinematic genious. Same with those 2 really bad Grindhouse movies. Studios thought Quentin and Rodriguez were creative geniouses. Then when they lost 100s of millions of $$$$ on that POS they pulled it so fast. HULK SMASH!

Well, I sorta agree on the CGI but would have liked to see someone with more of a larger physical frame play the Hulk.

What I REALLY want to see is a movie with the GRAY HULK. Who read those comics with Mr. Fixit? He was the best Marvel Hulk IMO. Then they combined him with Bruce Banner and the Green one, and it was just stupid. They should have stuck with the storyline that either the Hulk is weaker and wittier (gray), or dumber and stronger (green).

I am curious how anyone enjoyed the Ang Lee version. It got mixed reviews, but overall fairly good. Personally, I used a free movie ticket for it and feel like I got ripped off.

I can't stand Marvel movies.

So its entertaining at least. Cool. An average action movie. I bet its better that Indiana Jone: And the stupid Crytal Skull. That movie reeked.

It wasn't bad. Just slow and ponderous as hell. When I went to take my kid to see it, it felt like I was watching a 4 hour movie. And the final fight was a blurry unrecognizable mess.

Go check out Iron Man. Best movie of the summer so far.

Thats the exception. I won't lie some of the movies are enjoyable to watch (X-Men comes to mind) but I can't stand how much they usually stray from the true stories.
