Norton was really pushing to play Bruce Banner and the studios wanted to make a couple intro movies and then make a big "Avengers" movie with all the stars. They got high quality actors and made them sign deals guaranteeing that they'd come back to make sequels and cameos.

Unfortunately, it is sounding like Marvel is trying to screw the pooch again which would result in Favreau not coming back to direct Iron Man 2.

Uhh.. Why do they make sequels to any movie? To make more money.

Would be better if the main character wasn't a dumb looking, CGI character.
That's why the original TV show was so great is it was a real guy.
Well, I sorta agree on the CGI but would have liked to see someone with more of a larger physical frame play the Hulk.Originally posted by: Oyeve

Yeah, but that old 70s show with Lou Ferigno really didnt push what the Hulk was capable of doing. While I liked the show I always read the comic and in the comic the hulk claps his hands and level buildings, they never did that on the show. I am looking forward to this Hulk as the Ang Lee movie sucked balls. Just because you have one huge hit movie (Crouching tiger) doesnt mean you are a cinematic genious. Same with those 2 really bad Grindhouse movies. Studios thought Quentin and Rodriguez were creative geniouses. Then when they lost 100s of millions of $$$$ on that POS they pulled it so fast. HULK SMASH!

I am curious how anyone enjoyed the Ang Lee version. It got mixed reviews, but overall fairly good. Personally, I used a free movie ticket for it and feel like I got ripped off.
