Supposedly much better camera and speakers than other phones and completely revamped HTC Sense.

Launching in more than 80 countries with 185 mobile operators globally. Shipping in late March.

AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile for US, no word on VZW. Rogers, Bell and Telus in Canada.

Does this phone have front facing speakers, because I'd like that a lot if so.

Not sure why HTC continues making phones without micro SD though. I can accept that sacrifice on my $350 Nexus 4, not sure I can accept it as easily on a $650+ phone though.

I really like the look of the phone.

This phone will come with 32GB and 64GB...MicroSD for me is irrelevant.
The problem lies for me when Android manufacturers release 16GB phones without a MicroSD option.

Also, good to see that they've gotten rid of the camera buldge on their phones.

So what happened to One X, One V, and One S? Now it's just One? Totally confusing, HTC has failed at naming their devices since the beginning and it looks like they are continuing that trend.

Also not liking the silver top and bottom to the black middle. Every time I see that it makes me feel like "Why couldn't they chop these off and just give me the black section?"

I didn't look at the storage options yet before making my comment, so this sounds a bit better.

What I hate is when they offer a 16GB base model, then charge $100 more for the 32GB model and a king's ransom for the 64GB model.

If this new high-end device is simply called the HTC One, then what will next years be called? HTC One Two? HTC Two? HTC One A? HTC One "what"?

HTC Two, I hope. That would be neat.

We'll see which direction their midrange and other phones take the naming this year.

I don't see how HTC One, HTC Two, HTC Three, and so on increases brand awareness for them and will translate into more sales/profits to rival Apple iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, LG Optimus, Sony Xperia, or Verizon's "Droid" brand, but if that's what they want, then that's fine.

It looks extremely nice and if the One X is any indication the build quality should be great. That said I have a hard time seeing it competing with the Galaxy S4 if it gets the Exynos 5 Octa like everyone expects, at least as far as performance is concerned.

To get to an application switcher (which is now a 3x3 grid of thumbnails), one has to double tap the home button.

It's a nice looking phone but if the battery isn't at least a full-day battery then I really don't care for it.

By only offering 32gb and 64gb models, the need for a MicroSD is less important but the lack of replaceable batteries means it MUST have a larger than average battery life.

OEMs need to stop playing the Android button musical chairs game. Either adopt a universal Android standard, or have each manufacturer have their own universal button placement standard.
No manufacturer should be switching placement buttons between different lines of their phones.

I like the fact that they're resisting the urge to go super-sized with their next flagship...although I'd prefer it if they went a little smaller still. But hey, if 2013 is going to be a sea of 5"+ devices, this might be the "one" to get if you prefer things a bit smaller. Intrigued to see if the camera lives up to the hype. Concerned that battery life will be horrid.

Looks like a classic HTC phone to me.

I'd of had no trouble guessing the manufacturer if the HTC branding wasn't there.

I like it. My only complaint is really the sealed battery. The rest of the specs look fine.

Yeah, that would have been a much better idea. Otherwise it looks amazing.
