It seemed offended that Simon asked if it was a boy. How the fvck are we supposed to know if it doesn't?

I think you know very well it's a "he." But just because you act like a girl, that does not make you an "it." And I think aidanjm is implying that you implied that that person is a "thing," which I don't think you implied that. I think you simply implied neutrality.

And I think it was Randy who asked if he was a "boy."

It may have been Randy. Anyway I wasn't sure at first either. Now I know but I'll still call it an it. It isn't just the mannerism or the feminine features. It was wearing girl clothes too. Why the fvck would it get offended if it presents itself as a female?

The guy clearly says in the video that (paraphrasing) "people often think I am a girl, but I am a guy". He expresses no doubts about his gender - he says he is a guy. So AFAICT the problem actually lies with you and your intolerance.

Yeah....like I said he didn't have his dick hanging out.

I don't care what the fvck it is or does. That is it's thing.

The only intolerance here is you wanting to suppress my description of it. Don't say you don't.

This is what you said: "When it decides which one it wants to be I'll refer to it as such". I am pointing out that this guy has decided what he is - he identifies as a guy. I am wondering why you won't respect his decision. Referring to him as an "it" is just a way of ridiculing and dehumanizing this person - as if he is somehow less than human just because he doesn't conform to your stereotypical ideas of what a male is supposed to look like or sound like.

He has a point. "It" isn't a human pronoun. Even for sapient neuter pronouns there's a movement to use "hir" instead. "It" refers to property. Kind of funny that you use the black guy avatar and don't get how this is offensive...

It chooses to wear the stereotypical clothes of a female. It chooses to wear a stereotypical female hairstyle. Why would it do that? You might be able to argue the mannerism and voice but I'm sure those are practiced and probably enhanced by hormones.

Why should it be offended by questions about it's gender. Surely it sees it looks like a girl and plays it up.

The only reason it still checks the male box is cause it knows it has a dick.

Dehumanizing it? I said it is free to be and do what it wants.

The gender confusion is obvious

RCN, If you cannot comprehend that the word "it" refers to a "thing" as a non living object, then that's your failure, not the person in the videos'.

Either that, or you're just trolling and should be ignored.

So what you are saying, in essence, is that ALL males should wear stereotypically male clothes and hair, and all females should wear stereotypically female clothes and hair. And any male who doesn't follow the rules, and who DARES to embrace ambiguity or androgyny in his appearance, is to be ridiculed and dehumanized. This makes you seem like a Neanderthal a$$hole.

Many people are comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, shades of grey. You apparently are only comfortable with "black & white". Hence your extreme discomfort and angry, a$$hole-like behavior towards this individual.

OK. So since we don't have a third gender what should I call it? I guess I will refer to it as a crossdresser from now on or maybe a female impersonator. Take your pick and get back to me.

If it walks like a girl...looks like a girl...dresses like a girl....acts like a girl.....but has a dick it must be a ?

I didn't suggest killing it like another poster but I do hope it doesn't breed. I wouldn't try to stop it from doing so though. I realize it is human. It's gender is what is in question.

Gender confusion or no gender confusion calling him/she whatever you believe "it" is just downright hate filled.

He is simply a guy "pretending" to be a girl.

That's all he is.

If I dress up like a vampire, does that make me a vampire? No.

It's just a guy who pretends to be a girl. Whatever gets you off. End of story, quit arguing.

Do you think it would have been offended if Randy asked why it pretended to be a girl?

Locut0s & aidanjm, RCN is simply using "it" as a way of gender neutrality, not as a way of saying that person is a "thing" or "non human."

I agree with everything aidanjm said, but don't take it so over the top.

Big misunderstanding by everyone. No more bickering.

If you'd like to start a new thread of your own and refer to him as an "it" that's fine, but the person in the video is a he on my thread.

I think if Randy would have asked him, he would have felt embarassed or "put on the spot," but not quite all the way to "offended." I think he knows people get confused and he should accept that as long as people aren't rude about it.

Accept the term IT when referring to a human has the universally understood effect of dehumanizing them, gender confusion or not.
