So where is your proof that Sweden is so very homogeneous? Have you even been to Sweden? If you visited any major city here you would know how wrong you are. Of course Sweden is not as ethnically diverse as the US. Just 40 years ago the population here consisted of almost 100 % ethnic swedes and a few finns.Originally posted by: CanOWorms

Actually Sweden has a high rate of immigration, 18 % of the population are immigrants or have parents that immigrated. JS80 is of course an idiot for calling swedes xenophobes, what do you know about that? Sweden has a market economy just like the US, and if you look at the list of the worlds 50 richest people you'll find a couple of swedes there's plenty of rich people here too..
Of course a PN commie would think inter-european immigration really counts as immigration. I'll trade you one of our blonde hair blue eyed swedes for one of your blonde hair blue eyed norweigian
That's moronic, in the last 15 years most of the immigrants have come from the middle east. You have no idea what you are talking about but still you continue with your BS. That´s pretty sad.

Not only does your article not disprove anything, but it shows the disdain for minorities that plagues Sweden.
Exactly. The article he used had very few numbers, the ones it did show were of a very, very small refuge population, not of permanent immigrants. Not to mention it compares Sweden to Norway in attempting to show how much better off they would be without these refugees.
Sweden is very homogeneous.
Of course you know better, I only live here.. In fact I live in a neighborhood were about 50 % are immigrants from the middle east, ex-yugoslavia etc. Of the 100 000 immigrants that came to Sweden in 2007, 50 % came from Europe incl. Turkey and 40+ % from Asia and Africa.
The fact that you live there is irrelevant. Numbers and facts mean more than your emotions and nationalism.
What you have posted contradicts your earlier post, too.
Of course since Sweden is part of the EU, other europeans can come here to work very easily so there will be a lot of movement within the EU. Anyway I think it's been established that Sweden accepts a lot of immigrants. 100 000 in one year, that more than 1 % of the population and a large part of them come from Asia and Africa.
