Still, the scams pulled are ridiculous. Especially when you have no alternative. Kind of like when Allstate fucked us after the accident. When you look at it this country is more conservative and socialist than ever. And i know what comes next: "If you think so the gtfo".. don't worry, I will.

How is it the scam? I dare you to show us the agreement you signed, and I'm sure the terms are made explicit. It's not a scam just because you're stupid.

I'm stupid? Dick, i was damn 15 when we bought the house. My parents barely know english. Watch what you say about people dumbass. Maybe we didn't have money to afford a lawyer. I wanna see you or any other cocky fuck go to ANOTHER CONTINENT without knowing anyone, the language, or anything with no money in your pocket and see how you're gonna live in a few years since we're so stupid and you're so intelligent right. We have more now than most people that have lived here their whole lives and didn't take advantage of anything (prolly like you).

*cough* you're a perfect example of why the world hates americans. go away fatman.

Ignorance is not an excuse when signing something.

And saying you didn't have money to afford a lawyer but you bought a condo with a HOA is just assinine. There are thousands and thousands of developments that don't have them.

And saying you have more than others doesn't really impress anyone. You are basically saying any idiot who has no clue whats going on can make it in this country. But then again, you cannot even park in your driveway, so who is the winner here?

Solutions:

Sell a car

Move

Buy the house next door and park in its garage

or

Kill your self

I'd see my entire family homeless before I'd live anywhere with a HOA, but, sorry, no pity for you if you were silly enough to sign the agreement. Next time you know.

HOA's blow. Hell, ticky-tacky developments in general blow.

OP, please stop whining like a stuck pig or a 12 year old schoolgirl and grow the fuck up.

Ironically enough you've developed an American attitude with anti-American sentiment. Therefore you're a jackass. As well, you are in America the "melting pot" so don't act like you had such a dry-buttfuck of a time assimilating. The fact that you can't park is in no way related to this country. On behalf of ATOT's US members we're all very sorry that your trip to Ellis Island didn't come with a personal assistant to hold your parents' hands.

Welcome to the third level of hell know as a home owners association.

Welcome to the ignorant signing an agreement they don't intend to keep.

There are many of them now crying over their mortgages saying they didn't know what they were really signing.

I choose to give up a new home and pay a bit more even to get a non-HOA neighborhood that was decent.

No one is forced to live in an HOA.

Yea real smart jackass. When you're new to a country and barely know any english right? And cause a car in the driveway or street is sooooooo horrible they should tow and cause problems and money. Shit's prolly not even like this in the north. People from NY go crazy when they hear some of the stuff down here. It's like I'm living in damn socialism (which we tried to escape) guess not. Damnit America, give me my money and let me get out of here.

You signed the contract, you agreed to the terms. Now shut the fuck up or move out.

Go read The Jungle.

My neighborhood has that rule. The reasoning is, of course, cars parked in the street hurts home values.

You know, there's so much bullshit about "this will hurt home values" "that will hurt home values". (I'm not saying you agree with the reasoning you posted.) Can someone find any research done that shows "gee, we like house A and house B equally. The houses are nearly identical. But, we'll only pay 500,000 for house B, but 510,000 for house A, because the neighbors at house B have a car parked in the driveway."

Gee, maybe there's proof out there that HOA's harm home values! :p The big reason some people want HOA's is because they're afraid that someone's going to purchase a relatively expensive home (for that area), and open up a car repair shop in their driveway, or leave tons of garbage laying around, or never cut their lawn. These things can easily be addressed in most municipal codes. All it takes is for neighbors to complain to the city about building code violations (and a city that will act on these complaints; or at least act on persistent complaints). City doesn't give a shit? Sounds like a great city to live in.

:thumbsup::thumbsup: for entertainment value.

OP, how many cars do you guys have?

Beyond reading over the bylaws for the HOA you bought into and trying to then fight it with the HOA, your only solutions are: 1) sell the 3rd car, since you only seem to have space for 2 (driveway + garage); 2) park on a public street, where the HOA doesn't have control; 3) leave the car and let it get towed.

PS: For future reference, your parents could have gotten a realtor for free when buying the home, since the buyer's realtor gets paid through the seller (seller's realtor and the buyer's realtor split the commission on the home). You're also an asshat.
